Today is a SAD f--king day for Yelpers, vegans, raw foodists, and the raw curious. I don't know what it's actually like to be sodomized, but I'm sure it feels similar to how I feel now after leaving Rawvolution--a restaurant that I FORMERLY said was the best raw place on the Westside. I'm not certain whether it's new ownership or just plain GREED to blame, but this place has taken a giant crap on itself. I just left with a bag of rosemary crackers that I paid $8 for. Inside the bag was... Wait for it... 8 crackers. For those not good at math, that's $1.00 per cracker. $1!!!! The nice young lady behind the counter literally cringed as she handed me the bag. I don't think she enjoyed being an accessory to rape. And it's sad because I used to enjoy walking here from my home, seeing all the sexy women in their yoga pants eating and being healthy. Now, I can't even look at the place without feeling violated. Rawvolution, what happened to you?

I love this place!!! The food is delicious and the service is great. I wished I lived closer I would be there every morning for the longevity coffee. Of course for the food too.

This is a good place if you are vegan or even if you are not the food tastes fabulous. I am not vegan and I enjoy coming here often as it's only 4 blocks from my place. The desserts are incredible! Must try's are... *cheesecake - flavors change daily (The nut free ones don't taste as good as the standard ones) *soups *salads *burgers The staff are lovely. The music is great they select. I love the bohemian vibe & decor.

I discovered RAWvolution about 6 months ago and have been going almost weekly since then. The food is delicious and always fresh, some of my favorites include the nachos, parfait, and anything in the dessert case. You cant go wrong with this place! The staff is excellent, very attentive and genuine. Service is always timely, and the staff works hard to serve their customers well. They are personable and always put a smile on my face! Great vibes, great eats, this place is a definite must.

I am not Vegan, but I love healthy Vegan cuisine. The breakfast burrito and nachos are amazing! The service was awesome and the atmosphere was great! The Raw Smore for desert was also delightful, all though I wish I would have gotten a piece of cake instead.

Two words: RIP OFF. It's obscene how overpriced this place is. Their juices are worth the $10 they charge. However, $8 for a side of tabouli that weighs no less than 3 oz. is absurd. Especially since it consists of chopped parsely and onion with a little lemon juice squirted on it. Wtf? Thieves. There is no justification for that.

A bit on the pricey side, but its vegan and the entree sizes are fairly big. The California Crunch roll is the way to go (vegan taco meat, meets sushi roll) ask for additional paprika sauce if you need a dip.

Rawvolution has four star food and smoothies. The tiger roll, the big matt burger, and the holy macro bowl are delicious, and I love a Spirulina Warrior shake after a hard workout. The atmosphere is chill and the location on Main Street is convenient for picking up some lunch to-go on your way to the beach. The reason I give only three stars is because lately the staff has become arrogant and rude. I've been a customer for a few years now and even supported the kickstarter campaign when this restaurant was at risk of losing its lease. I used to be greeted regularly by the counter staff, who were polite and totally accommodating. I so appreciated the friendly vibes in keeping with the raw food mindset. HOWEVER, the past two times I've been in I have been treated like I hardly exist by some dark curly haired white dude with an attitude. I don't know who this guy thinks he is, but he really ruins the experience of dining here. During one visit he ignored me for 5 minutes when he wasn't even busy, then finally wandered over to the register and acted like taking my order was a huge inconvenience. Earlier today, he slammed my order down on the counter and screamed out my name instead of handing it to me (I was standing right there), then practically knocked me over on the way to chat up some chick on a laptop. I don't expect any VIP treatment, but when I'm spending $25 on lunch I at least expect a smile and a thank you. Especially from a restaurant that was so recently saved in part by generous support from its customers. I plan to take my business elsewhere for now.

This is the best raw restaurant on the west side.Ive eaten there many times. I love the Tiger rolls, the chefs salad and particularly the coconut jerky, actually have never had anything there i didnt like.. Their Dandyblend coffee substitute is incredible. If you are in the area check it out. Great service and friendly staff.

Love this place. And it's only gotten better since it first opened years ago. For my money this is the best raw food on the West Side. All the servers are lovely and approach their gig with a true sense of kindness. Occasionally the food will take a little bit longer to come out then you might expect, but it's all beautifully handcrafted and well worth the wait. Fantastic Juices and desserts too.

Rawvolution came up on my list on Grub Hub when I entered Healthy and vegetarian as the type of food I wanted. I know this sounds crazy but it didn't immediately click that I was ordering raw food. Only after I ordered did I realize it. I've eaten at raw food places before but it's been many years. I ordered the nachos with walnut meat and enchilada. The food arrived earlier than expected, always good. I was impressed there was no delivery charge and only a $10 or $12 minimum. Often delivery looks like it's been tossed around in someone's car. However when I opened the containers both dishes were colorful and beautiful. I regret not taking a photo. The nachos were absolutely delicious. I wouldn't order nachos the usual way but this version is incredible. There were about 12 -14 hearty homemade chips, it did not look like a lot but they are so dense and filling there's was plenty for the generous amount of dip. The flavors melded so well the food just melted in my mouth. The enchilada (understandably) had similar flavors but was equally beautiful and delicious. I did not need to eat both of these things but they were so tasty I could not help myself. I am not a raw food adherent but I do eat healthy vegetarian whole foods and this was perfect. I'll be ordering from them again SOON.

Been eating here off and on for years. Used to have the meals delivered back in 2005 and Matt's food is really good. It set the standard. Big Matt is the bomb and the onion bread he used to make (current recipe is different) was wonderful. Highly recommend.

This place is disgusting. I'm not a vegan, but I do enjoy fresh healthy food as much as the next person and typically eat vegetarian. I decided to purchase "The Box", which gives you 4-5 days worth of food prepared at the beginning of the week. This included a few soups, some "salads", some "entrees", and something that I assume was to resemble a dessert. There was really no point in differentiating the meals or providing a description for what came in that box because all of it, and I mean all of it-barring the soups, looked like one big mashed brown patty of mystery "meat". According to their website, the majority of their items are composed of ground sunflower seeds, flax seats, various wheat germs and raw ingredients but everything tasted like a rotting old shoe and I threw everything out. If you want a healthy, even raw meal, there are several other places worth going, so save your money. (Did I mention that this "box" was $120 for 10 odd boxes or so of unidentifiable goo?)

I lived almost next door to that restaurant so I've been there many times. The location is great - on main street and almost on the beach. It's a pretty small restaurant but it's really nice and "granola" inside haha! The food is good but not that great. Their taco salad is really great, as well as their enchiladas. Their thai curry soup is good too. They do really good drinks and coffee though. It's all raw and vegan, so nothing is cooked and no animal products are used. In my opinion, prices are too high. (I know its all organic food but still - I had a durian smoothie (small/regular size for like 15$ lol). It was good of course but could have make the same thing at home if I had fresh durian. Service is a bit slow lol but people are nice! No stress there haha!

I ate here a few times 5+ years ago and was thoroughly unimpressed. I avoided the place for a long time and that was a mistake because the food has improved tons. Apparently an ownership change made all of the difference. The enchilada and nachos are top notch. I've tried a few other dishes that were just ok though.

Amazing spot! Such cool owners and the food is great, even if you are not a vegan/vegetarian, it's really tasty and innovative. We had some of their cold pressed juices, which were amazing too. I love that places like this continue to do well, and there's a reason....They sell great food and practice 'conscious capitalism', meaning they are not just out to make a buck but also to provide a product or service that helps the community too. Much love, can't wait to come back!

Negative: you can never order over the phone since "grasshopper" aka their answering service never connects you to a live person. We have complained multiple times about inability to order via phone and there hasn't been any remedy to the situation. I'm starting to believe the staff just turns the ringer off since it is usually staffed by only the cooks and 1 waitstaff that functions as the cashier as well. Also, it can sometimes take a very long time to prepare. Positive: Amazing healthy yummy food and great cold pressed juice. If I were basing the review on the food I'd give it 4 stars, however service and ease of getting food is super important especially when hungry, so I give them 3 stars.

I dare say that it's the best raw vegan food in LA. Great staff, the vibe and artwork is amazing, wifi, and a comfy couch;) highly recommended...

i had the california nori roll which was quite good here and the iced tea. the nori roll was a bit overpriced, but you have to expect this from a vegan and health conscious restaurant where they spend time and money making sure they have the best produce. that didnt bother me, but i did thing it was ridiculous to charge 5 dollars for a small mason jar worth of iced tea. it was herbal and truly nothing special thats a complete rip off. absolutely no reason that some water with tea in it should cost that much!!

  • Erica S.

The food tasted ok. We shared the appetizer nachos which didn't come with enough chips and the big Matt burger tasted pretty good. Our waters were empty for a long time. I had to ask for a refill. The desserts looked really yummy, I probably won't be back

Do not waste your money here! Food is terrible and by far the worst vegan place I've been to. The only thing my husband and I actually thought was "eatable" were the nachos. We ordered the zucchini pesto pasta which was a cold dish and not indicated on the menu. Not only was the dish cold, there wasn't pasta!! Zucchini strings mixed with pesto sauce is the dish (mind you this is around $11.00). We had also ordered the enchiladas also served cold. Needless to say we left the food untouched.

Great vibe. Great place to meet a friend for healthy food in Santa Monica. Favorites: The Big Matt veggie burger, Cafe Salad, the sweets are delectable, and the fresh pressed juices are awesome.

Great place! As soon as we walked in the vibe of the place felt amazing. Everyone was really friendly and the food was excellent. Great variety and drinks! and no one was on their cell phone the entire time we were there. Comfortable place to chill and unwind.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love the food at Rawvolution. I think it blows other vegan places entirely out of the water. Unique, flavorful, and filling! Also love the cozy atmosphere, and the way-too-friendly and extremely knowledgable waitstaff. It's our go-to date place! The desserts are also deadly-delish. And that taco "meat"...and those CHIPS are so dang good that we have to order them every time, and usually buy a really expensive (but totally worth it) bag of them to take home with us (i.e. annihilate on the car-ride home), too.

Good, organic green juice that is expensive at $10.

Very welcoming, warm & mellow atmosphere and people. The baked goods looked amazing -but at $9 a slice, I decided to skip it this time. Instead, I had the Thai Curry soup -which was cool and refreshing with just a tiny hint of curry flavor. I do like cold soup, but this one didn't impress me too much. I've had better cold soup before elsewhere... My friend had the Red Enchilada, which I took a bite of, and it was delicious! I would love to go back to order the Red Enchilada for myself. As well as try the other items on the menu, such as the zucchini pasta and the pad thai pasta. My friend ordered the "Wake Up Kiss' warm drink after our meal. We ended up waiting a very, very, very long time for this drink. After waiting for so long, we inquired with the waitress, and our charming waitress assured us that it usually takes an extended amount of time to make their warm drinks -but, personally, we figured they had forgotten to make it, and were just giving us an excuse. After a half hour or more later(not exaggerating), my friend received her drink. So strange that a drink would take so long to make, whereas the food came out almost immediately...taking that into consideration, I probably would avoid ordering their warm drinks in the future. My friend ended up enjoying the drink -and it was delicious, but it did not justify for such a long wait. Ridiculous.

It's really sad that people who try raw restaurants like this end up thinking that all the raw food is crap. Because in this place desserts do not taste like desert at all,too much superfood taste, not enough flavour and some even taste like soap. Warm drinks...well I don't even know if you can call them a drinks so I just gonna skip this part. Breakfast Apple sandwich was oook but just because of a fresh fruit that gave it some kind of flavor,as far as apple bread it was tasteless and way too chewy. And the prices...well they are simply OUTRAGEOUS!!! 2slices of dessert,2 tiny dessert bites,1 apple sandwich and 2 drinks $65! And we left dissatisfied and sad for the raw food culture. Just so you understand this is coming from people who make raw food and especially raw desserts at home and been around quite a lot of restaurants before. So yeah... your choice. Don't waist your time and money and make yourself some delicious treats at home (with a few simple ingredients)

My vegetarian friend came into town, and we wanted to try something new. There are so many vegetarian-/vegan-friendly places in Santa Monica, I thought it was time to try a new place. It was a bonus that this restaurant is in walking distance of my house. I checked Yelp and their website for their business hours, hoping it wasn't just a lunch restaurant. Lucky for us, they have posted that they are open until 9:30pm daily. Excited, we walk down Main Street to the restaurant. We walk past the restaurant first because every light in the dining room is off. We thought it had to be the wrong address, but upon further inspection, it was very clearly the right restaurant. I looked in the window to see if anyone was in there, and I saw an employee at the register. As soon as he saw me, he ducked into the back room, out of sight. Very helpful. In case I had made a mistake, I checked the hours posted on the window. "Open Daily until 9:30pm." Bearing in mind that we were there at about 8:50pm on a Saturday night, this didn't seem right. We tried knocking on the door, but the cashier I had seen earlier was still hiding out in the back. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. With all of the other vegetarian/vegan options in Santa Monica, I'm not going to waste any more of my time trying to get into a restaurant that closes before 9pm on a Saturday night. At least there are dozens of other great restaurants on Main Street that don't shut their doors before closing time.

I am basically the opposite of the sort of person you might expect to go to Euphoria. I'm a total carnivore. I eat pounds of meat (aiming for grass fed) everyday. Many animals have died for my pleasure of eating them. See, I eat paleo and stay away from vegetarian places, and usually run far away screaming when I hear of a 'vegan' place. Most vegan places peddle in soy and wheat based foods and I stay away from grains, legumes, and soy like the plague. When I first learned of this place, I was exceedingly skeptical that there would be anything I could eat that didn't have wheat, soy, or legumes in it. I started with my usual questions - "Is there wheat and grains in this?" "Do you use soy at all?" "What about sugar?" When I heard "NO" to all that, man was I super surprised to learn how wrong I was! I first met them at the Santa Monica Farmer's market and tried a 'breakfast' wrap. ( I recommend the red sauce spicy one) My first thoughts were - how is this going to taste good? I'm just going to be hungry in about 15 seconds after eating this. Boy was I wrong, it was super delicious, flavorful, and fresh. This brought me to go to the restaurant - they have a bunch of delicious smoothies and foods there that they do not have at the market. Oh and deserts! They are super delicious - especially the cheesecake. So since I live close by, I challenged myself to eat there everyday and try something different each day. Some of my favorite things to eat here include: 1) anything that is breakfast like 2) the 'enchilada' 3) coconut jerky! 4) the green smoothie 5) "cheese" cakes It's not that the food is just good, inspite of being vegan - it's good because "It's GOOD" and would choose to eat this regularly. If they had something weak here, I'd say it might be the pizza, because it's not 'pizza' like you expect it's going to be. This is not to mean that it's not GOOD. Same goes for the 'burger'. My only gripe is that places make things like this to make it more approachable and sadly disappoints when it's not EXACTLY like a cheeseburger or piece of pizza. I warn you that this stuff is raw. Don't be an idiot and expect to go in here and ask them to cater to your whim if you are not going to eat 'raw' food. It's not Burger King and you can't always have things "your way." Your ancestors ate raw food all the time - with dirt on it even - so can you (note: there is no dirt on the food here). If you aren't open minded or into trying new things or you need to fill your fat face with pizza, then head down the street to fill your pie hole as there is a pizza place on the same block. The atmosphere is a little wonky, but I like that about it. If feels almost like a coffee shop and might seem a little confusing the first time you go inside. Its super friendly and 'chill' - So if you are in a super rush or something either call ahead for pickup or practice patience when you arrive. The people here are friendly and helpful - they'll answer most any question you have, and if you need to talk to someone just grab one of them - if they don't know about something someone will and will come out and tell you. I don't talk about meat in this place, this is vegan territory and want to respect the harmony of the joint - these vegans are at least eating actual 'vegetables' (well fruits and nuts too), much respect. Raw local food isn't cheap. Sure some of the stuff might seem pricey, but have you tried making these things yourself from organic local foods? If you are - then you know the cost that goes into it. The food is also very filling - so you might not 'need' as much as you might think. Order something sans smoothie and you might be very full very quick. I love BBQ, steaks, sashimi, chickens and other delicious animals - but this place is in my top 10 of restaurants in LA, not in spite of not having meat - but because they make great food that is also good for you. Now if only they dubbed 'Bacon' a vegetable...

I was greeted with a smile, given all the 411 of the day and the food was amazing! The service was exactly what I look for: friendly, attentive, anticipating my needs and accommodating. I even received a complimentary desert with my check-in on facebook! It has been a while since I was here. I am glad to be back!

I have been a huge fan of Rawvolution for many years. But lately my experiences there have been so bad, that I really don't care to return. Recently a group of us went for lunch and the service was shockingly slow and unattentative. We were sitting for over 20 minutes before anyone offered to help us. Once we did order, the people who came in well after us, got their food well before us. Even waiting for the check for over 15 minutes was enough to drive everyone mad. If you go to Rawvolution, I recommend ordering at the counter, the service is just not attentive at all. Maybe they are understaffed, I am not sure why it's so bad.

Great food, good size portions. I really appreciate that they pay attention to the quality of their food - both taste and healthwise. You can tell the ingredients are quality. Knocked a star off (but should have knocked 2 off) because of the horrible waitress who works there. She is not always there but I actually avoid going to Rawvolution because her service is SO annoying and she is so unprofessional. I have only one other time avoided a restaurant because of a waitress. However, I think the food is GREAT and totally worth it! I did take-out the last time lol, I was that put-off by the waitress.

I have eaten at this place three times and each time, the food was orgasmic. My mouth is watering, just from thinking about it right now. Their food is prepared with high quality ingredients and jam-packed full of flavor. They lose one star because their service needs some improvement. Wishing there were a 'Euphoria Loves Rawvolution' in the 19125 area zip code of Philadelphia.

I've had pretty much everything on the menu and when I get a little craving for "raw" food, I've gone here. It's worth a try if you are curious to try raw. Some of the dishes had a bit more "salty" than I am used to, but overall, one of my favorite places to eat alone.

On a chill Saturday afternoon a good bud of mine suggested we go eat at this restaurant and since I am very open to new adventures I thought "sure, why not"? If I could use one word to describe Rawvolution it would be "amazing"! I am not a vegan and I have never dined at a "raw" restaurant before. So, I didnt know what to expect. Everything was super delicious,,,,the "coconut jerky" was superb....the Cinammon Roll pastry was shockingly awesome. I honestly can say this was one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. On a very personal note, I need to reflect...do some serious soul searching on the kinds of foods I am putting into my body. I never knew healthy eating can taste soooo amazing!

Juliano who? Screw that guy. Spend less. Eat better. Go to Euphoria. Everything is actually raw and actually vegan... They consistently serve great and creative food here. After too long of a hiatus, I headed back here and fell in love all over again... Mushroom and Swiss burger: amazing. The raw "bread" is super tasty and the salad of greens is real greens, not bullshit lettuce here, we are talking chard, kale, and spinach. They were out of the mole tacos, so we got the nachos instead...great move. My only advice is ration your chips. There is so much stuff to dip them in, you have to be sure to load them up nice and full with the tasty "nacho meat", guac, "cheese", and pico de gallo. Atlantis roll: tasted great. I almost thought I was eating tuna...but I wasn't... We also indulged on a dessert: coconut ice cream. They call it ice cream, but it's not really true. I'll try to explain it: the coconut base is about 3/4 of an inch and is very cold and creamy, but has a very cohesive/granular texture. Honestly, its more like a pie crust than scoop of ice cream. Then the "frosting" is a wonderful 1/4" layer of goodness. It's not too sweet either. Keep in mind, raw food takes some adjustment. One thing to bear in mind: even if the portions appear small, raw food has a funny way of filling you up much more efficiently than a lot of cooked dishes. Also, because everything is raw, the fats you are eating are quite healthy and digestible, so go ahead and get some...

Best raw, vegan and organic food I've had in LA! my favorite dish is the Pad Thai and the mushroom burger. Also there's a blackberry chocolate cake that is soooo good.

I am normally not a health food person and I came here I admit to impress a girl. I was taken aback at how delicious this place was. A lot of people turned off by Vegan food so when you mention Raw Vegan they expect to pay tons of money for a carrot on their plate. This is not at the case at Euphoria. The food is is better prepared at Euphoria then it is at most restaurants out there and the best part is you can eat tons of it and feel good about yourself! I went all out when I went and I had Yerba Mate tea and I am a tea snob and let me tell you. Some of the best tea I have ever had. I often go back and go way out of my way just to grab a cup of tea. For the main entree I enjoyed schezwan noodles. Amazingly delicious and the noodles (made of zucchini) were amazing. My date had the nachos which I was glad that she did not finish so I could finish them off for her. For dessert a chocolate bar with goji berries in it that was very savory and rich. An amazing place to eat and feel good about it. I suggest going for a nice sunset meal. There are only two things you should bring a semi full wallet (for a guy like my on a budget it was pricey) and an open mind to try new things.

ELR is a lifesaver for people with food allergies: no wheat, no dairy, nothing artificial. Only the freshest (mostly organic) ingredients, prepared with the raw food magic into some of the most delicious "healthy" dishes I have ever tried. I love the "sushi" rolls and their pesto bruschetta. The desserts are amazing! So rich and sweet, yet no butter, no sugar, no flour. Today I stopped by after a workout for a delicious Electrolyte Lemonade (with a ginger kick) and when I feel like indulging I get their Chocolate Maca shake. So delicious it's hard to believe it's good for you. The food is not cheap, but considering the fresh organic ingredients, it's a good deal. For the most part the service is great. If it's your first time and you have no idea what to order, the staff will gladly share their favorite recommendations.

They've emailed and replied to this thread with offers of free food to come back (feels like bribery but is also a possibly nice gesture). They also insist: "We are an inclusive community hub and welcome everyone!" but in the next sentence semi-contradict themselves, saying "We know our food isn't for everybody." (but I guess this could also be construed as "We welcome everybody but not everybody likes the food", but I'll leave it up to your interpretation) I also kind of got the feeling what they wanted to say was: "We actually think you're not acquainted with raw food." But this is simply my own heresay. Though it's possibly nice of them to offer me a free dinner or dessert (depending on the motive), I plan on skipping their free food offer (not worth my time even if it's free). I'll stick with the various other places I go to get vegetarian, vegan, and raw food in the Santa Monica area: - Planet Raw ( yelp.com/bi ...) - Real Food Daily (aka RFD, yelp.com/bi ...) - Veggie Grill ( yelp.com/bi ...) If anyone has any other substitutions comment on my review with them for a comparison.

Ive been wanting to try this place for a while. I went here for lunch with my friend and I don't know if the stars were aligned but we had a great lunch. Food ambiance, service and free wifi. David our waiter was insanely nice and accommodating the whole time we were there. After trying to figure out from their extensive menu and reading all the yelp reviews I went with the Mediterranean Veggie Burger with the onion bread. The onion bread were basically flaxseed crackers which I preferred. My friend ordered the enchiladas. When they both came we were happily surprised at the size of the entrees. My veggie burger was amazing. The nut patty with the hummus and cashew feta had the right combination of flavors. My friend loved my dish. Her enchilada had some great flavors and was exceptionally good too. But I have to say I loved my dish better. After we couldn't help ourselves and we ordered the chocolate spirulina protein superfood cake. Omg! Yes we devoured it. The two of us. Really great food, great people and good environment. Def going back.

delicious, fresh, fantastic. my favorite offering is the big matt burger, which i indulged in on sunday. pure heaven. see my photo! i'll never eat a big mac again... fifth star missing only because if it were a bit more affordable i'd eat here all the time, instead of having to treat myself. would also love slightly larger portions after yoga! love the community feeling and the fact that everything they use is earth-friendly. i also love walking by the kitchen outside and smelling the mouth-watering aromas. assuming the heat must be coming from the dishwasher, since nothing is being cooked.

I've been here a couple of times in the last month or so. I've ordered the "Big Matt Cheese" burger. I had been hungry for a gluten free burger and this was amazing. I've also had the coconut jerky which is dehydrated young coconut meat with a curry seasoning which was pretty good. I've had the nachos grande which was yummy and filling since they don't skimp on the walnut "meat". For desserts, I've had a cheesecake which was very good, but too big for one person so split it with someone or take home half. My favorite dessert was cacao nib mint ice mylk. I'm still dreaming of that. This place is kind of eclectic. The layout is not that relaxing for me and parking is kind of difficult. There's parking across the street in front of this coop garden, but when I got back to my car, the parking lot was closed with tape even though I had entered and paid. If that happens to you, just lift up the tape and drive under and lower the tape after your exit. The other nearby parking lot is wierd also. It's like musical chairs...you just drive around and around until someone leaves but it's totally random and unfair. Interesting neighborhood. The service is decent, but seems a little unorganized with a kind of wierd layout. Overall I give them 4 stars for being a solid raw vegan place.

The BEST raw vegan alive food ever. I thoroughly enjoy Rawvolution. It's definitely "Euphoria" for this life-long vegetarian. (Ok, I'll admit, I have generally been classified as a "vegetarian", but I will occasionally eat fish and dairy, and I am not picky when it comes to broth, as long as it's not beef broth, cause that's where I draw the line). However. Since I gave birth to my 3rd child (yes, we have 4 kids in total, I have a stepson to add to my 3 little DNA pumpkins) I was worried about how in the world to lose the post-pregnancy weight, and feel good and healthy too. I am a firm believer in the power of life giving foods to give you radiant skin, hair, and a beautiful loving attitude. I got into going raw last summer. One of the best philosophies I have discovered is not being a complete fanatic or a strict "raw foodist" to start-- but to enjoy your food. Reeeally ENJOY it. That's when you try Rawvolution! The food is simply heavenly for vegans, and vegetarians, and hmmm maybe sometimes a carnivore might be converted here. I recommend the smoothies and elixirs-- my faves are the Zen Master, and the Maca Aztec shake (raw chocolate! mesquite! maca!). The "Super food Soup" is delightful with avocado, cucumber, and cilantro, and very filling. All desserts are superb. Try the cafe salad too: the little yummy olives are splendid!

If you would like to have a healthy yet pleasurable to the pallet experience, you have to hit up RAWvolution!. The restaurant is 100% vegan down to the deserts which are delicious. Each dish is totally unique and not what you would expect. Their salads are freaking HUGE! RAWvolution is the place to go for a different yummy change. The restaurant itself is super cute and cozy too. I love everything about this place, and the staff is really friendly and accommodating.

I realize I am not their target audience, but this review is for all those people who enjoy eating everything (including meat and cooked foods) but wanted to try something different. Hopefully this will be helpful and not just sound like a rant. I ordered something they called a "pizza" but which resembled a salad with some dried salad and weird crust thing. I thought raw meant they would take delicious raw vegetables and combine them to make great food, not process it in their own weird way and pretend it's food I can get anywhere else (like "nachos", which came with 4 "chips" and some gobbeldy gook). I'm sorry, I realize that this may offend some people and I'm going to sound ignorant / intolerant, but this place really wasn't for me.

Sometimes there's just way too many hippies and I just want to go down the street to urth cafe instead. just kiding. This place has undergone a lot of changes in the last few year, but one thing still remains: It's expensive. If you're a SantaMonican and make more than crap wage you can probably afford it, but the rest of us will just have to steal food from the garden across the street to get a healthy meal. The service there has improved greatly over the last year or so as the staff seems more focused now as opposed to the kids there before who seemed to be on shrooms most of the time. They also got rid of that lady with the accent who loved to be rude and ignore you if she didn't like your question. I'm not sure if the guy that looks like Mr. Incredible still works there but the service will satisfy my concept of perfection if they fire him. The Food: challenging. Sometimes youll pay $11 for a raw PB&J or $9 for a wrap. a small wrap. like a sushi wrap. and that's it. And they wont even be THAT good. Actually, they're good, but don't expect to get full at all. I always leave there still hungry as their portions are made for anaorexics. If you have money to burn you can have a really god time with thir apetizers, entreees, and desserts; but you'd need all 3 to fill you up. They also love to dehydrate and marinate everything there so be prepared to use your teeth and chew A LOT, and have a glass of water to balance out the massive amount of salt they use to give the illusion of flavor in their dishes. BUT! the 3 for $5 desserts kept me coming back. theyre bomb! except for that retarted cookie thingy. The Rosemary crackers with seed cheese is good too (even though they dont have any rosemary in them) Good to see this place improving and hope that the rent in Santa Monica goes down so they can drop their prices and have bigger dishes.

My review is for the Box. The food is good. The service is not great. First, they have a no substitutions policy. So, even though I have a specific food allergy (sesame), I cannot substitute out an item for two of another item or even get the box without it. So, every week I have to throw some of the food away. Also, talking to someone about your order is difficult. I had a problem with my weekly delivery, and could not get anyone to call me back for days. When they finally did, they had a "too bad" "your fault" attitude, that didn't seem condusive to good customer relations.

I recently passed through Santa Monica and was quite impressed with my first lunch here. Between my friend and I, we sampled the taco salad, the Szechwan noodle bowl, the chai milk shake, and the sweet green shake. All were incredibly delicious. The vibe here is casual; a little on the hippie-dippy/crunchy side but that's sort of my scene, so I don't mind. There is some outdoor seeing, so we enjoyed our lunch in the sunshine. I'm not a raw foodist, but I am (mostly) vegan and have been aspiring to move in the raw direction for several months now. High quality raw food is expensive, so in light of this I didn't think the stuff here was over-priced. People seem to think a good deal involves getting more calories for less money, when really they'd be better off with fewer but higher quality calories. And BTW, my dining companion is not even remotely vegetarian and she was a fan of the food too -- especially my taco salad.

Love the Chai Latte and the Green Tea Latte is pretty good also! I tried the Chili Love soup it was pretty good it has crunchy seaweed, avocodo, and pumpkin oil, and has a nice spice to it. The Staff is pretty friendly and knows about the menu. I went in at night and they played pretty cool music :)

Perhaps my favorite restaurant. As a foodie, and a chef, I'm always on the lookout for wonderful healthy delicious cuisine. In all categories, Euphoria Loves Rawvolution is first class. Hard to say what to order, because I have enjoyed virtually everything I have tried there from first time I ate there. Favorites: Bruschetta, Superfood Soup, Indonesian Noodles, Californication, Tiger Roll, Cocophoria, Taco Salad, Macro Bowl, ALL of the sweets and actually everything else.

raw food tends to cost more even though the portions are small and gas bills are cheap... makes perfect sense right? passing on the savings. anyways.. this place seems to have stepped too far.. they had a 21 dollar salad... whaT? fine dining .. nope ..i don't think so... 9 dollar piece of cheesecake.. a bargain I'm sure... HA! i got some wrap and opted for extra "taco meat" haha... and i left hungry.. 13.78 .. plus the nice girls tip.. puts me at swindled and still undernourished.. no wonder most vegans are so thin.. i couldn't afford to eat either if my options were limited to places like this. on a positive note for people who don't mind being gouged... food was tasty.. really tasty.. just not 14 dollar wrap tasty..

I've only been once but I enjoyed my experience. I don't eat a lot of raw food but everything was pretty tasty. I had the red enchiladas and the big matt. Good sized portions for both meals. Good service and the environment was comfy. Definitely will be back.

This place is pretty good for raw food, but honestly I've had better. I got the pizza here once (some mixed greens and a cracker with some spread on it? Not fufilling at all) and an zucchini pasta bowl with a spicy sauce and it was not impressive. Taste was good but it's not worth the prices, which are pretty high. I'd only go back if a group of friends really wanted to go there.

I recently went to Rawvolution for my Birthday dinner (just two of us-it's a small place) and really enjoyed it. The thing I have realized about eating raw is that with every bite, there are at least 5 different strong flavors. It's really an amazing experience. Too bad eating out at raw food restaurants is so expensive...id be there all the time. I ordered the enchiladas and the big matte and cheez (idk how they spelled it on the menu)- and both were scrumptious! We cleaned our plates. I love this place and highly recommend it. If you have never eaten raw before, know that the bread is not typical 'bread' (bc it's not cooked) - it's more like a cracker. This place is excellent!

Terrible. Just awful. Bad. Not good. I should have started by declaring my relative ignorance when it comes to raw food, but, you know, I didn't want to. Why? Because this place was a P in the A, you know what I mean, Sheila? I was 3rd in line and wasn't helped for about 8 minutes because the counter staff was busy either talking to each other or flirting / hand-touching with the customer in RAWvolutionary War period costume at the front of the line. And, honestly, I'm a calm son of a b. I don't like overly-hasty counter service. I just don't like to be treated like an invisible fart just because I wasn't wrapped in a shawl and fondling the staff. You see? I'm angry about this place. Being my first time, I opted for the burger type thing, noted as their house special. Yes, thank you, I was a little surprised that it came to 11 dollars with no sides, no nothing, but I'm an open-minded, dopey, happy-go-lucky schmuck and was still pretty excited to try it. It was like somebody poured salt and industrial grit onto a stale onion cracker. It was difficult to chew and swallow, it broke apart into a thousand pieces, and was all in all the worst use of 11 dollars I've participated in since going on a scratcher ticket binge in the 7-11 parking lot last year. Maybe I just haven't developed the taste for raw food, but I don't know if that's it. This place is incredibly expensive, a little too cult-ish for lunch, and harsh on the mouth. To going there ever again, friends, I say no. No, thank you. The RAWvolution will not be tasty.

My hands down favorite raw food place in Los Angeles, it's the only place I have eaten where I still have yet to order a dish twice. Everything is an adventure and made so refreshingly well. The Italian pizza is an exquisite mushroom and green olive tangy delight on top of the famous onion bread they make there from scratch. Everything is top notch made from scratch. The coconut jerky appetizer with cashew cream is addictive. The desserts are to die for, I tend to stop off on my bike on my way home just to get pieces of their spirulina or cacao cheesecakes. Not over-seasoned like Cafe Gratitude, everything is super fresh and unique. I always get full when I leave but then an hour later feel like I have boundless energy, I just know the food is doing good things inside me which is weird for food that tastes this damn good. The nachos are another favorite as well the kelp pad thai. I could go on and on but I haven't tried the entire menu yet, give me a year or so and I might. The staff is friendly and overall a great healthy good vibe setting and experience always.

I had the Sweet and Green Smoothie which I will say was very good tasting although not what I would consider a "smoothie". It was a Green Juice poured over ice in an 8 ounce cup for $9. NINE DOLLARS! Given that ice takes up quite a bit of space I would have to say that it was probably 6 (at most 7 ounces of liquid) that is more than a buck an ounce. I will not go back, no matter how raw or organic or euphoric. I can't say anything about their food, but for a juice or a smoothie I would rather go to Rainbow Acres or the Co-op.

This was my first time at RAWvolution. I took my niece who enjoys the raw lifestyle. I had the Tiger Wrap and it was just as good or better than any food I've had on Main Street. Her banana bread with almond butter looked yummy, too. We did have a really long wait for our food and there weren't a lot of people when we first ordered. I asked a wait-staff to check on our food. So other than the service, I thought it was great.

Never though I could get full eating all raw, but this time I did. Granted I had the enchilada, 1/4 of the Indonesian bowl, 1/2 a black & white cookie, 1/2 a bagel/"cream cheese" sandwich, 1/2 a cup of veggie soup & 1/2 a carrot "cheese"cake but it was all really good & my tummy was satisfied for hours. So different from my earlier raw meals that had me crazy for food an hour later. My non-vegan, non-raw friends also liked it, though not quite as much as me which is why I ate all of my meal plus so much of theirs. But this was their first raw experience, and they did notice a difference in how they felt so that the next day, they said they would be willing to try another raw experience. So obviously the taste was acceptable enough to even them, they just had to get their first experience down. Service- wow, I have never been in a place that actually would come around to all the customers & say, if you are parked on this side of the street, go move your car since they start street cleaning hours in 5 minutes & that is a $60 ticket. That impressed me, friend impressed that there were store copies of books available & that they just let us run up a tab as we ordered instead of having to pay at the counter since it is an order& pay-at-counter place. So besides having to continuously explain what raw food diet is, even while he was eating it, which is why when a friend recommended the raw diet to him & he asked me about it, I said let's go try a meal so you can understand it & he still only 1/2 gets it, I also had to explain that people who would dine & work at these places are not the type who would be as oh this is hard to admit, but just seem to be more honest. Plus also healthier & with a better attitude/compassion. Maybe that's why I enjoy vegan places so much, in addition to how much easier it is to not have to ask what on the menu is vegan. Much better vibe. Raw makes it even easier since there are way more gluten free options than other vegan places. I really love those bagel/cream cheese sandwiches ever since trying them at Erewhon. I should go buy a stash of the bags & cheese before leaving town.

I ate here once and wasn't that pleased. I'd go again if friends wanted to go there, but I wouldn't go back on my own. My drink (some green drink) and dessert were good. My meal was decent, but small. It also wasn't what I wanted. I spent a good ten minutes looking at the menu trying to figure out what I wanted because at first none of it sounded appetizing. When I finally decided what I wanted the rude server told me that they were out of it. So I said "Okay, I want this" and he said "I think we are out of that too." So he went and looked and came back and told me that yes, they were out of that. So I ended up just asking for his recommendation from the wraps on the menu. I was sad because I was expecting something similiar to Cafe Gratitude in SF or Terra Bella Cafe in Redondo Beach. If you are looking for vegan food in LA and aren't raw - just go to Real Food Daily instead.

I like food. For many years, I preferred dead animals. For less years, I preferred cooked things, not necessarily meat-related. I still like dead things and cooked things. Yet strangely enough, I get cravings for Euphoria Loves Rawvolution. Particularly: Dragon Roll or Nori Mole Tacos or the Green Superfood Soup. Sauces on the side, for me to control. Maybe it's the crunchy community, maybe it's the faint sexuality of durian lingering, maybe it's the propensity for people to talk to you about food and, maybe, a taste here and there. And maybe I just found the right dishes to order. Others are good, some are not so, but the ones I listed above are my staples. Somewhat pricey but why do I find myself back here every other week? And, to further flesh this question out: why do I find most of the LA restaurants hardly comparable to NYC restaurants, and yet I find myself back at Euphoria Loves Rawvolution every other week?

Not the first time to try raw cuisine, this place is one of the best in LA. My friend and I tried 4 dishes: Coconut Lime Cake, Dragon Rolls: coconut jerky's delicious, Zucchini Pasta (we had 3 different sauces: marinara, cashew alfredo, basil pesto): It has great texture and tasty, Nacho: this is so gooooood. I must come back again!

mixed thoughts here. my first time here i came w my dog and we obviously had to eat outside. the waitress was very helpful with it all until she dropped off the check (um, hello? i wanted dessert.) but she ran off without me being able to ask for any. it was hard to go in with my dog because he would freak out if i left him outside... so finally i ran in (my meter was running out and she was aware of this) and i saw her discussing scheduling with someone. i still needed a to go box and dessert! someone else helped me out with it so the experience started off real warm and sweet, but then i just felt.. neglected. the food is "off the chain" and so filling for what you get. really. it's worth it. second time i went with my mom and was very satisfied again. i would recommend the alfredo sauce over the tomato if you get the pasta. just much more satisfying.

Loved the INDONESIAN NOODLES. They were made from kelp, and the sauce from cashews and cayenne pepper. The chocolate bon bons are awesome! It was a lot of food for one entree, so you get your money's worth. I tried the Espresso and Ginger and both were very good. Nice, clean cafe-like atmosphere.

I visited a raw foods restaurant last night on Main street after hearing about it for a while and passing by a few times on my way to the beach. Rawvolution is the name of the place and after walking in and smelling the distinctive aroma of vitamins and wheat grass juice I choose to sit outside. The service was efficient and friendly and the menu was short but fairly extensive given that there are no cooked foods to be had. I am definitely into healthier food and take pride in cooking with no dairy, little fat and organic produce so I was open to enjoying a raw food experience. Having said that I must admit after the meal I had a strong urge to go across the street and order a piece of pizza from Bravo. Ok, ok, raw food is all the rage right now with restaurants cropping up all over L.A. but this was a meal that was "literally"hard for me to swallow. I ordered a mushroom "burger" after hearing from a friend that the onion "bread" they are famous for is so amazing. It came on said bread but something about the texture of it was very strange. First of all, they don't use wheat, yeast or any flour in their cuisine so all "breads" are made from seeds and some kind of pressed grain. The texture was chewy and dry sort of like eating very salty cardboard and I didn't detect any onion flavor at all. The mushroom was topped with a spread that is supposed to be a facsimile of cheese which wasn't bad but also overly salty. The whole thing was quite dense and heavy and I felt full after eating half of it. I also ordered the one quite yummy item of my meal which was a nori roll filled with vegetables and a bean spread, it was delicious and although messy to eat- soooo, not first date material- I would say that it's worth going back for. I went with a friend who also is into vegetarian food and enjoys trying new cuisines as I do so she was the right person to accompany me. She ordered a "big mac" but remember we are eating raw foods here so no burger, cheese or bun. This was a creative attempt to copy a burger with the infamous onion bread once again and a textured grain, seed, nut thing as the burger. Hers was also overly salty but she liked it more than I did. We tried their truffles for dessert and the wait person said they were great. We ordered a cookie dough, chocolate coconut haystack and a Goji berry truffle. They gave us one order that we split, thank god because I could barely eat any of it. The coconut one was acceptable but the other two were in-edible, between the weird texture and the strange sweetener they use I almost spit it out. Give me a good piece of chocolate any day over this mock dessert. I often here people say I must be picky in restaurants because I am in the food business and my answer is, only when it is bad. I go out to all kinds of places and am appreciative of efforts made to prepare good food, as I know what goes into it. But this experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth, literally. I was macrobiotic for a few years in my early twenties and taught at the one and only vegan cooking school in the country for five years so I am not a novice at off -the -beaten path vegetarian fare, but next time I will pass on the raw part of healthy eating and choose for my food to be cooked.

Can't say I'll ever be coming back here. Maybe they need to re-feng shui the place, but my friends and I left in the worst irritable moods after we had eaten here. One of them and myself also had a stomachache after. Really, I wanted to like this place.

This food is miraculously bad. It's clearly made with a lot of love and commitment. The food is fascinating--like nothing else I've ever eaten. Frankly I have no idea what I was eating. The flavors, which were mostly tangy, even when it was supposed to be dessert, were hard to place. I think this was due to "sprouting." Really I don't know. You know, I'd eat it again. At least it seemed healthy. And I like new experiences even when they suck. This three stars is very subjective. Objectively: Stay WAY FAR away (0 stars). Does this really count as my dinner? update (3/2/08). I found something I like here. The cookie dough balls. Though they have a weird flavor from the natural sweetner, they otherwise taste rich and delicious. The texture is awesome--thick and creamy and with a big crunch. No idea what I'm eating but I'm fairly impressed. This place is hit and miss with satisfying hits and horrible misses.

AWEsome! Cleanest, tastiest, BEST raw food I have ever had. I impressed my colleagues with a take-out lunch from this place (inspired by my groupon). Loved the cucumber soup, seaweed salad, pizza, and brownies! But my favorite was the rockin' egg-less salad. This place will surely become one of my regular haunts. Manager Zat bent over backwards to make the Groupon Deal work for me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I like this restaurant but I don't think that I'll be taking a trip to Santa Monica for the main purpose of eating their fare(maybe if I was craving a salad/was in the neighborhood). Pros: *The smoothies/juices are delightful. *The salads are very yummy(ask for the main dressing on the side so you can taste the "greenery"). *They're creative with the creation, display and naming of the dishes(don't be fooled meat eaters. The burgers are not meat burgers...not even soy faux burgers. More like a dehydrated raw mixture shaped into burger like shapes.) *Other products and books to educate a newbie/long timer. Cons: *Suck Ass Parking *More Suck Ass Parking *Salt(For the love of god why are some raw food preparers so heavy handed with the salt? I've been twice in two seasons and yet have gagged a bit on the saltiness of the dehydrated patties. Please stop! I want to taste my food. *The interior's okay..reminds me of a nice co-ed dorm living room. I'd be more prone to doing take out when I come back. Some of the paintings were interesting? My favorites are cucumber dill salad (best I've had - hell all their salads are great), their drinks(the green juice is so green it scares ya...don't let the taste scare you. It's good for you so drink up)

The reason for the 1 star is that I went into Rawvolution as a newbie that has gone raw so I was trying different places, my fave is leaf cuisine for their huge salads, nonetheless, I tried the signature Big Matt w/ cheese and on August 3rd came back for more, only this time the dish had ketchup on it, and the first one I had didn't. The sauce didn't taste right so I scrapped most of it off, but some was still there. That evening, I had terrible stomach cramps and just really couldn't get to sleep from the pain. That morning and rest of the day wasn't better. I had excruciating pain and just didn't understand what was wrong with me. Finally coaxed by family member to go to hospital in the evening since it didn't subside - so I waited long time before getting seen in ER They brought me a concoction to numb the pain in the stomach, but it was almost 2am and I demanded to leave since the tests and doctor wasn't much help, it was obvious now to me I had food poisoning. When I contacted Rawvolution, they really were no help, or they just didn't want to help. They didn't take the messages to the manager in time or as he said, they gave him the wrong # which I repeated several times. To this day they have not compensated me and I've left messages that go answered. The whole ordeal disrupted my daily routine and my healthy regime since I was told from the hospital to eat a bland diet (which consists of foods I am not allowed to eat since I have allergy, and are not raw). I would not recommend for anyone to eat here ever! Especially when the manager himself told me that sometimes he gets sick from the pesto sauce, but doesn't seem to phase him .... and then he started changing my story and wouldn't believe I got sick from their establishment. I have no reason to lie about it, but they should be held responsible. Oh and if you don't like something I believe it's very hard to get your money back. If you want to know more, contact me. If you are just getting into raw food, I'd suggest checking out Leaf Cuisine, or doing up your own recipes, esp salads then going to this pompous, rude and not customer friendly establishment. They really don't care about the customer and the staff is full of themselves, including the manager. Oh and if you get food poisoning from here just be forewarned you will have to call them relentlessly and don't back down, otherwise they will not care or do anything to help you.

This restaurant is amazing. Whether or not you have tried raw food I would definitely recommend it. The service is great, the staff is helpful, and I have never been disappointed in what I order. I will start this review by saying that I'm a meat loving individual but am still a health conscious one too. I live right around the corner from ELR so I thought I'd finally drop in for a meal. I like the ambiance of the restaurant with the great view of Main Street and the sounds of reggae music. The place is inviting and relaxing too. I'm standing at the counter, alone, reviewing the menu and the two women behind the counter all but ignore me. No greeting. No offers of food suggestions. No acknowledgement whatsoever. Ok.... I don't need someone to gush over me but I am a customer and there is a tip jar at the counter. So I open my mouth to order and they've walked away. I order. For a place that wasn't very busy with most patrons having already ordered, my food took a long time (15-20 minutes). The food was very tasty and the portion was generous. I had enough for leftovers. I'd probably return but ELR won't be at the top of my list for local eateries.

I avoid sugar, flour, other highly processed foods, so most vegan restaurants are off limits. Amazingly, I can enjoy anything on the menu here... and everything I've tried is delicious (if unconventional). The waiters are always cheerful & happy to answer my silly questions about ingredients. It is more expensive than the casual ambiance suggests, but it's clear they use the best available produce & the dishes seem time consuming to prepare.

When you first walk in there, you feel like you've walked into a hippie commune as the scent of patchouli is a bit overwhelming. However, if you're looking for a place that's healthy, vegan, and raw, this is a great choice. The best thing about this place is the nut/veggie pate and their sauces. They're fantastic and full of flavor. It's hard to tell that these things are raw! The reason that I like raw food as a whole is that after I eat it, I'm full of energy. If I'm dating someone, you can bet she's gonna get a hot night. If I'm going out that night, you can bet I'm going to be partying it up late. Raw food is very energizing! Start off with the Coconut Jerky. It's spicy and full of flavor. Great stuff! Secondly, they have a few very intense flavors if you order the right things. My first choice is the Sloppy Joe. Their nut/veggie pate is pretty awesome it's got a great flavor. What I like about it is that it's nice and rich, and satisfying. My favorite one is the Green Dragon Roll. Fantastic flavors and texture there. Really wonderful flavor and rich. Avocado and nut filling as well as a great sauce. I however, didn't like their signature sandwich, the Big Mac. The filling and bread are all delicious, but the "meat" tastes like a hockey puck. It's about as large as a York's Peppermint Patty and dry and crunchy. Yuck. The desserts are nice but I must warn you about the things with Cocoa Nibs. It's like eating a coffee bean. Gritty and a bit bitter. Ultimately if you like pulling things out of your beard and not hanging with your dreadlocked girlfriend who doesn't shave, you're at the right place. If you're a foodie like me, it's great to try some of the things, but be prepared to try things that aren't what you expect.

Very good vegan restaurant, but very pricey. I would recommend trying it out, the food was awesome. But, slow service. Maybe they'd have more energy if they ate some meat. A small smoothie ran almost $8. It was good, but for $8, it should cure an illness!

ELR delivers some of their food to Mother's Markets in Orange County and after discovering their amazing Big Matt, Mock Tuna Salad, and Mock Egg Salad I decided to make that trek up to Santa Monica to check out their location, dragging my not vegan or raw boyfriend with me for the ride. The atmosphere was generally very welcoming and for the most part comfortable exept for a few people who I'm assuming were the owner and his friend... While I looked at the menu near the counter my boyfriend found a seat by the front window, of which shortly after he sat down he was asked to move from so the owner could hand some art above the table. I was really hoping for a good experience as I am trying to get my boyfriend more into the whole vegan/raw thing. Unfortunately, even after my BF found another less comfortable seat, he then found himself seated directly facing the long line that did not diminish the entire time we were there, probably thanks to the girl behind the counter who besides not being very well educated about the menu (nor had she tried half the items I asked about, kind of hard to sell something you don't know) she also seemed to not know how to use the cash register. All the BF had was hot tea which they forgot to bring until after I had reminded the food runner. The red burrito was good, but greatly lacking considering the meal cost $14. It simply consisted of romaine lettuce avocado, nut cheese, ONE raw tortilla, a little tiny bit of red sauce on top, a little more nut cheese on the side, a small amount of salsa. This was not even close to resembling a burrito by the way, it was more like lasagna, all layer ontop of eachother. Regardless, the food was very good, but for being a restaraunt who serves celebrities I expected much, much more. I decided to try dessert which the girl behind the counter once again disappointed by not knowing, or having tried most of the items. The mint leaves we delish, as was the Maca Ball, but the snickers bar was slightly off tasting and I wasn't able to place the flavors. While I payed the girl behind the counter was far more interested in talking to the other people in line rather than addressing me and put me in an akward and uncomfortable position. Overall I think the next time I drive up to Santa Monica to try a Raw restraunt, I'll try Julianno's Raw. As for purchasing ELR Products at Mother's, I'm not super sure that I will. I think I would rather support companies that are less self-centered. Not to mention I will never be able to get my boyfriend to go there again, he felt very alienated. By the way the girl behind the counter had no Idea what I was talking about when I mentioned that I bought much of their products at other locations in Orange County. It really bothered me that the employees were so uneducated.

OH.EMMMM.HOLY FRICKIN GEEEEE. I just died and went to raw heaven. As a newly converted raw food lover I was SO excited to try this place. I had heard amazing things from fellow vegans and non-vegans alike and I always drive all the way from WeHo to the Co-Op in Santa Monica to buy their Cheesy Kale chips, so I knew we were off to a good start. Ok so here was what I ordered and here are my thoughts: Coconut Jerky w/ Cashew Mayo - BOMB DIGGITY DAMN curry heaven slice of divine. Best shit ever. Seriously I could probably survive on just this the rest of my life and be happy. It's dehydrated* coconut with delicious curry like spices that is chewy yet not tough and just all around amazingness. There is no way I can come here ever again and not order this. (For those who don't know dehydrating foods under 118 degrees is a staple in raw gourmet, and provides a lot of texture and variety without killing any digestive enzymes). Pesto Tomato Sliders - Slices of tomato drizzeled with EVOO and smeared with raw pesto - SO yumo, I have really come to LOVE raw pesto lately and this is def the best I have. Very satisfying and a perfect app as it is not too filling yet very flavorful and savory. Cafe Salad - good but I didn't like the garlic cream dressing (although I am still convinced the waiter brought me the wrong dressing and I don;t know what that is so I will be back to verify my suspicions .... ) but love that there is Dulse on it (a very nutritious sea-veggie) as I normally never see them available on any menus. I will prob try a different salad next time though. Mushroom and Swiss Burger - The "bun" is their signature dehydrated onion bread and it is so damn tasty and jam packed with flavor I could eat it all on its own. The burger patty was great and the cashew cheese was AWESOME. SO creamy I could not believe it was raw. The mushrooms pulled it all together and it came with a tiny little side salad. I was actually pretty full and satisfied after this but I could not resist ordering desert. They have like 30 to choose from and once you see them you will know why.... Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake - FOODGASM. Nuff said. I got the cheesy kale chips (NOT the regular ones mind you those are not so good) to go, as well as a Chocolate Haystack (Cacao and Coconut balls) and a Carmel Chocolate Turtle (literally in the shape of a mini turtle) to go. I also picked up a raw food cook book :) The food was 4 or 5 stars. The service was okay, not that fast, but the food was sooooo good I don't even care. The dude behind the counter was way more knowledgeable than our waiter was, so I asked him to help me with my desert picking. Everyone was super duper nice and accommodating though. When I sent back my salad b/c of the dressing (which was on the side but I decided to pour all over before tasting it.... whoops) they brought out one double its size to make up for it. OOOoo also the song that was playing when I came in was the song I was listening to in my car .... Krishna Das ... weird synchronicity. Great, chill, jammy music playing too. Loved the couple next to me who was super into tarot and has books and a huge deck of cards on the table and got so excited when the waiter knew about Tarot. Gotta love people watching at joints like this :)

Ravolution has the finest, raw food. The Californication Roll is spectacular. Delicious, nice hippies and bohemian atmosphere. Only one bathroom but no big deal. The food is so good who wants to have to go to the bathroom

Came here for a summer stroll with my friend/neighbor. She has recently switched to a new vegan diet from the book "Eat To Live". She ordered the red enchilada and it looked fantastic. The mango salsa on top and the guacamole on the side made it very appetizing. She dug right in and apparently it must have been very good, because she hardly said a word. I ordered the acai lemonade that was sweetened with coconut nectar. A new ingredient I am not familiar with. We both thought that was the best lemonade we ever had tasted. It didn't leave us feeling sugared out afterwards. What a difference. It would have been prettier with a little mint leaf to decorate it. I also had a coconut from the cold case. I sucked up the coconut water with a straw. It was only afterwards that I saw clean glasses available on a counter top, next to a glass dispenser filled with lemon water. Oh well, it was fun, the novelty of drinking from the coconut itself. It was then that I proceeded to eat the spoon meat coconut. I liked that it wasn't too young, wasn't too old either. Just a middle aged coconut, ready made in nature for relative ease of scooping out the chunks of coconut meat. I thoroughly enjoyed this summer day. They even had a stack of meditation cards. Perfect to read when you're stressed out. It brought me a sense of peace. Now I'll take a nap in the sun.

You don't have to be a Raw Vegan to dine here! I'm not, I just love great food and it so happens that this place only serves Organic, Raw and Vegan so it is a major plus to my health. Euphoria is for everyone who enjoys delicious fresh organic full of flavorful food! Never had one bad meal here! They have a pretty big menu, we are always confuse on what to order because it's so hard to pick, they are all so yummy and the exotic ingredients listed makes your mouth water. If your into Raw and Vegan dishes, this is definitely the place for you! I've tried just about every Raw/Vegan Restaurants/Cafe in the L. A. area and Euphoria is definitely one of the BEST in town.

first of all, anyone could eat here...i mean anyone. the service is fabulous and the entire staff is super friendly. i ordered a nacho plate, mediterranean burger, and had berries and cream for dessert. each plate was better than the last. the nacho's were perfectly seasoned, the burger dripped with hummus and fresh olives, and the berries were out of this world. i am definitely going to start being a regular at this establishment.

Rawvolution get 4 stars because it has by far the BEST raw desserts around. Whether you are a raw food fan or just a dessert lover you cannot pass these up. The best part is is that you leave feeling energized and totally satisfied, no lump in the gut or sugar crash. Rawvolution is expensive but if you know anything about making raw food you will know that the ingredients are super expensive and there is no way to make raw food cheap. These restaurants pretty much break even to bring you the best ingredients around. Not only are the ingredients of the highest quality but they must be completely fresh- the main rule when making raw food- no heat to kill bugs. Therefore if you are dedicated to the health of your body and the excitement of your taste buds its worth every penny. Rawvolution definitely has a funky vibe but its the best place around to come for some tasty food and for some great supplements (Premier Research Labs is sold there- my favorite!)- Plus, its just a few blocks from the beach :) Thank you! P.S The Maca Caramel Balls are the Best!

This review is for "The Box", which is allegedly a week's worth of the most popular offerings at Euphoria Loves Rawvolution. I don't know if it's actually their regular food or not, but I doubt they could stay in business if it were indeed. First of all, I'm a bit of a foodie and raw/vegan/real food (not RFD!) connoisseur. I frequent Juliano's AND Providence, so my palate is pretty wide/evolved. The food that ELR supplied was UNEDIBLE. Extremely salty, from the soups to the sauces. The only thing that was okay was the dessert, probably because whoever cooked that food couldn't find a way to put salt in it. Secondly, I got a flu/virus thingie from one of the dishes, and a mean tummy ache from another one. Thirdly, the BOX is extremely poor value, the menu is mostly "fillers" and the ingredients are far from first quality. I doubt that a good place would deliver such a product, so I will not be trying the restaurant.

There are tons of options on the menu, much more than the other raw places I've been. Everything looked amazing, and I had a hard time deciding on what to get. I debated between the sushi rolls, salads, sandwiches, and zucchini noodles, but ultimately we decided on the Macro Bowl salad, Big Matt burger, and Tuna sandwich. The Big Matt ($11) is a nut-veggie patty, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, sunflower seed cheese, ketchup and mustard served on onion bread. I love onion bread, but the raw version which is more of a chewy cracker did not hit the spot for me. The portion was very small, but at least came with a side salad. The Macro Salad (full size, $11 ) was a special and not on the regular menu. It was a large bowl of seaweed, kale, tofu, with a spicy dressing. The dressing was the only thing I disliked about the flavor. The Tuna sandwich ($12) was amazing, very tasty and realistic. It also came with lettuce, tomato, pickels, and onion bread. I loved the flavor, but again the portion size was small and the onion bread not quite what I expected. I like raw food, and I've eaten quite a bit of raw cuisine from various local raw chefs & restaurants. I enjoyed my time at ELR, but mostly because of the company I was with. I found the portions small and unfulfilling, although they offered good flavor. I'm typically stuffed after eating raw, but I was still hungry after. All of their food is raw, organic, vegan, local, and sustainable according to their website.

Everything I've tried at Rawvolution (at the restaurant and at the Farmers' Market) has been amazing. I especially love the bacon and chips burger. The coconut jerky with dip is awesome. The wraps are excellent. The desserts are perfection... Honestly I can't say one bad thing about the food here. But what really makes Rawvolution for me is the service. ALL of the staff are super friendly and helpful. It's healthy for your body and your soul to come in here. Seriously. Also, let me just say that I eat a mainly paleo/primal foods diet, and a lot of Rawvolution's foods are somewhat compliant. Like Michael M. said (he's my partner actually) I am probably one of the last people you'd expect to find here, but I LOVE IT!

I've just read through a dozen reviews and am trying to figure out why they are so negative. My doctor sent me on a raw food quest last summer and I've tried every place I could find. Rawvolution deserves five stars. The food is tasty and of great nutritional quality, although expensive. Service is a little casual but that's part of the charm of the place. it's very welcoming there. Outside tables, take-home products and offerings, books to read....it's not a chain or franchise and that's what makes it great. If you are new to raw food, I can't guarantee that you will like it. But I would recommend starting here and giving them a chance. Dave

I'm on a raw diet cleanse for 5 days, well to be safe I'm gonna go with a highly technical 90 percent raw, the other 10, well I do need some breathing room. I'm a cheater what can I say. This 90 percent and the need to eat something more than a salad led me here. After reading the reviews I was hesitant to try this place but this was walking distance from my friend's pad so I went for it. I'm a vegetarian, sometimes I turn into a sugar heavy, or cookie vegetarian as my friend would say, which is why I'm needing this 5 day break. Wow, 2 paragraphs, no review, get with it woman. The service was great, maybe it was the time of day 3:45, maybe I'm special, who knows, but no complaints here. Our order was taken right away and served in a pretty timely matter. Everyone was nice enough. The water was infused with some healthy stuff, not sure exactly but it quite refreshing. This is what we ordered: Coconut Jerky- This was good, I can't say it was as great as people rave here, the flavor was there, the texture was not very jerky like. Not that I've ever had real jerky, I've been a vegetarian from birth, but it's definitely not what I imagine jerky to be. It was soft like it needed to spend a bit more time in the dehydrator. Once again, I've never dehydrated anything, so what do I really know, lol. Nachos-Am I the only one that gets annoyed that these raw restaurants name things like their cooked food counterparts but really it's just not the same thing? This dish was really really good, but it was more like a beefed up guac dip served with a few cracker like things. Definitely more dip than crackers but the dip was really flavorful. Loved this dish, just wish it wasn't called nachos. Pesto bruschetta- Loved it! Not much else to say. It was just enough food for us 2 ladies with nothing leftover. $30 and some change, wasn't too bad, but these were all apps. I'm only 5 feet tall and definitely could have eaten more, I can totally see this place getting pricey. I'm not used to walking out of a place without leftovers but I guess this is the price you pay to go raw. It was good but not sure if I would come back. Too many other options out there, wanting to try Better Life and nothing I had today was crave worthy nor convincing me into turning fully raw anytime soon. If I'm going healthy I think I prefer to stick to vegan, RFD is awesome and Veggie Grill is bomb. I love cooked food, what can I say.

I absolutely love this restaurant! I was so fortunate to find this place. when I started to do my raw diet two months ago. I like the casual environment compared to other raw restaurants that are a little too formal for my comfort. My order is usually done and ready to eat very quickly. Only once did I wait a long time for a to go order. The manager was very nice to notice that I was standing around for a while and went back to check on the status of my order. He was very kind! To apologize for the delay he gave me a free raw chocolate bar (6 dollar value!). I love this restaurant and will recommend it to anyone. It may seem overpriced for someone who is not restricted to a raw diet, but for someone doing raw for health reasons it is perfectly reasonable. Everything is super fresh and organic, you have to pay a little more for that.

Had the coconut jerky "sandwich" which was delicious. The side salad had a yummy dressing. The homemade coconut water is the best I've ever had. Kale chips were good too. I got take out for lunch. The guy at the counter was super-pleasant and helpful. Cool crowd and plenty of street parking at meters. There is a shopping section with exotic vitamins, vegan chocolates, nuts, glass water bottles etc. - all your hippie staples.

I am surprised that Euphoria Loves Rawvolution (ELR) does not have a higher overall rating. We have eaten there three times and have loved it each time. We look forward to going back whenever we are in Santa Monica. The food is outstanding, and the portions are large. The desserts are phenomenal. The prices are a little on the expensive side, but you pay for what you get. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. And the atmosphere is open and relaxed. They have a little corner of grocery-type items you can buy, which is nice. I would highly recommend ELR to anyone!

Yes!This place is RAW ,and whoever Euphoria is ,i think knows Raw food well, but does Mr.Euphoria make good raw food? I cam here for a mini pre-dinner snack, and i ordered the green dragon roll, and we got the walnut fudge brownie, coconut ball, and the beauty cookie;contains noni and bee pollen. The roll was fine, and i did like it but the brownie and the coconut ball had too much of coconut and didn't have any crunch to it.I did like the bee pollen cookie,it was crunchy and mushy and yummy! The place is spacious and i love their seating style and they have a mini store to buy raw supplements and other raw food powders.People here are sweet and kept checking on how i was doing at least 5 times in 30 minutes! And as my friend went to the restroom,he said it's really warm and nice, and i got curious and went there and OMG! the room is stuffy and stinky and it is the worst restroom in the West side. But you may ask maybe it was better before your friend visited the room! I do know him pretty well,so i don't think he's the culprit. They do need a window there and maybe better yummy cookies with more creativity? Euphoria likes RAWvolution.I shall wait till he falls in love with it! :) -Smriti

I had their superfood soup for $15. I copied it and reproduced it for $2 for the portion I got. SIMPLY OVERPRICED for what you get. Co-op on 15th and Broadway has a better price.

First of all; the space is GORGEOUS. Tall ceilings, big tables, lots of sunlight and airflow. Now for the food: the food is tasty and inventive. The staff is really good at guiding you through the menu. and p.s. I'm not a vegan, nor am I on a raw food diet. I just happen to really like this place-

This is one of the few raw restaurants where I can go to eat and forget that I'm a chef. I don't have to dissect the food because it's always fantastically delicious. Great staff, amazing food, chill atmosphere. BIG MATT BURGER!!!

Rawvolution. It helps to come here with an open mind. Food here is good but I have brought curious friends here with some success. Can't say I blame them, raw food isn't for everyone, but there are some surprisingly good dishes. The tomato pasta (which I no longer see on the menu, grr) is/was very good. They served the pasta al dente by straining cucumber stalks into little strands of pastas. Tomato sauce is basically all raw so there's nothing surprising on that end and the dish works. Substituting food is where it helps to have an open mind. Some of the dishes are meant to be served raw, some are not, and it's those that scare people off. If you do go inside, be sure to check out the foods being sold on the shelves. I spotted some interesting hipster things like veggie dog food. I'm not sure which is more crazy, the people in LA that push their dogs around in strollers or those that put their dogs on vegetarian diets. Only in LA...

My friend had brought me food from the restaurant a few times, which included a delicious salad, the tiger roll, the burger, and one of the soups. She had brought the food over a course of a few weeks. Everything I tasted was absolutely delicious, and that's coming from someone who has not had too many encounters with raw / vegan food. I told her I was bummed because I live in Sherman Oaks and found it hard to make it over to Santa Monica regularly to get there. The food was good enough to keep me intrigues and wanting to try it out for myself. Well, I finally got over to the restaurant yesterday and got to experience it for myself. First, everyone that worked there, and most of the patrons there, were fantastic and friendly. I went over with a friend, and we shared the Supreme Salad and the Tiger Roll. Both of them were absolutely divine. We had some work to do and propped up our laptops. There was some really chill music, and again, really friendly staff and patrons. The ambience was so comfortable and inviting. We got hungry again and ordered the pasta (half - half, so half marinara and half alfredo) and then the red enchilada. I seriously thought the enchilada tasted better than the real deal. My friend laughed at me through most of the meal because I couldn't stop raving about how delicious the pasta and the enchilada were. All in all, I was very impressed. I was so inspired, I actually ate raw again today and think I'll keep it up. Unfortunately for me, the raw foods section at Whole Foods, which is where I got today's food, is shameful in comparison. I will definitely be back again and again.

Bad service. Server forgot to bring out the "chili" soup AND my chai latte, double charged us for the Indonesian kelp noodles AND had the nerve to charge us for the missing items. I actually had to go inside to ask for the bill and the server asked if I'd like a receipt (I think they try to rip people off often) I said of course and ran through the receipt. $110 for two people didn't seem right. So when I discovered the micharges and brought them up, the server had the nerve to question me and said he saw the food in the kitchen! Well we never got it. PS the "pad thai" was awful. Dessert good. Won't ever be going back. Overpriced and underserviced. May even be scammers. The manager was there and seems to be on top of the servers and the bill.

This is the worst food I've ever had. The highlights of the box were the foods that had the least flavor. Everything ended up in the garbage disposal half eaten, somethings after one bite. What a waste of money. Try purerawcafe.com - beautifully presented, twice as much food, exceptional taste and value, some flexibility in menu choices. Much more responsive customer service. Worth every penny. I tried RAWvolution to supplement this other service that delivers later in the week. I will stick to my own devices in the future.

This was my time dining at an all raw and living foods restaurant. I love the chill atmosphere of the place. The music selection, the dim light, and the cozy tables were all very inviting. I also love the decks of cards, such as oracle cards, on the tables. The staff seemed very withdrawn at first but lightened up and became very friendly as our time there progressed. Drinks first...the Chlorophyll Lemonade was perfect. Onto the meal...the coconut jerky and cashew mayo starter was incredible, absolutely delicious! For the main course I ordered the Big Matt with Cheese and my comrad had the Mushroom and Swiss Burger. When we received our entrees they looked pretty much like identical salads except one had two pieces of onion bread and the other had one. Perhaps my expectations were a little too high from gazing upon the looks of various raw cuisine dishes online. The onion bread was tasty but the seed cheeses on the entrees were what absolutely made the meal! Now... happily onto dessert. The Cocao Nib pie was simply spectacular. I could eat two complete pies right now! Go there and experience that pie, I HIGHLY recommend it.

If you ever find yourself on Main Street in Santa Monica it'll be hard to miss Rawvolution. The aroma of this restaurant is so strong that you can probably smell the garlic and cucumber from around the corner. it is so potent. Rawvolution is not for everyone, obviously, because not everyone eats raw. I've eaten the vegetable nori rolls, which are like mock sushi and are a little bit messy, as well as guacamole, and numerous desserts. The maca balls, goji truffles, and cookie dough balls are good but pricey: $2.50 per ball. And it's usually hard to eat more than 2 because of how strong the sweetener they use to make them. Their cheesecakes are usually home runs though. Be careful with what you eat here because it is raw food and sometimes the cooks may oversalt to make the food flavorful. Their is no hostess or real server here. You basically just order from the counter then have a seat. This place is okay to try once but it's not really a place that I recommend to come to all the time.

I ate raw for awhile, and have tried most raw restaurants in Los Angeles. Rawvolutipn has some really good fresh foods but the service has never been too friendly and the vibe has always seemed 'cliquey'. Not a place I really enjoy going to, though the food is quite good. I much prefer Leaf Cuisine in Culver City.

I used to live just off Main street, and would constantly walk past this place and admire it, but I never found the time to make a point of eating there. A weeks back I was on Main street on a Saturday evening, and upon entering the restaurant and surveying their pretty extensive list of options, I ordered one of the pizza (I think it was the pesto option). As a vegan myself, I find the vegan diet to be relatively easy, but the one thing I do miss from my vegetarian days are pizzas; and no restaurant vegan restaurant that I've found (up until Rawvolution) had a vegan pizza option on their menu. Needless to say when they brought out my meal (a big bowl of simply just spinach leaves with a slight drizzle of pesto dressing) I did a double take and was about to say to my waiter "I ordered the pizza, not the salad"...but then I realized, that this seemingly awkward salad sitting in front of me was the pizza I had originally ordered. (It turned out to be a flax/onion crisp at the bottom of the bowl, loaded with just spinach, and only spinach....and then drizzled with quite a heavy, oily pesto dressing). Also, I came into the restaurant on a Saturday evening a few minutes after 8:30pm, unaware that their closing time was 9pm. When I was served my 'pizza' I asked if I could have a glass of water to which the waiter very awkwardly told me that the kitchen was already closed.....it would have been roughly 8:45pm, so I can understand if there was an issue in bringing out another meal, but a glass of water? ..really?! He then awkwardly told me that he would see if he could do something about it. A few minutes later a Mexican guy (perhaps the chef or kitchen staff?) came over very hastily in quite a gruff, and acted like he was doing me a massive favor when he handed me a plastic cup of water. I left about 5 minutes before 9pm, and turned to thank and wish the staff a good night as they had already started to pack up the restaurant, however they were too busy and too consumed in their very loud, and personal conversation and didn't even seem to notice my existence. All in all, I paid over $13 for that 'pizza'/salad, and most likely won't ever head there again. With the amount of vegan restaurants here in LA (and Santa Monica), I would be feeling pretty hard pressed and masochistic to head back to that place again.

Fantastic salads, dressings, great desserts and overall menu. Perhaps they could be more efficient with serving but very friendly waiters and really wonderful raw food.

After 11 yrs of curiosity I finally ordered "the box" from Rawvolution. Bad customer service experience overall. The ordering interface on the website is weak so somehow it let me place the order without paying for delivery. Rawvolution assumed this meant I was picking up. No delivery Mon night. We left a total of 4 voicemails, 2 emails and 3 calls to cafe ("oops we lost your number") and finally got the food 2 days late. Some of the food isn't bad, but overall it is wayyyyy too rich and fatty with all the nut pastes, huge balls of coconut, etc. Crackers made of nuts spread with nut paste topped with nuts with a side of nuts. It also gets old fast eating cold food every day. I also wish they hadn't swapped out some of the items that were supposed to be in the box. $120 is pretty steep too (why i waited 11yrs). In a world where most people would give anything to be able to eat, I feel like another dumb-ass yuppie who fell for the latest food trend. Eat raw on your own at home by eating more salads and fresh fruit!

This place is awesome! I ordered the enchiladas and the Mac burger. They were both very delicious. The enchiladas had everything you would want in an enchilada but more. It had mangos and a very delicious salsa. That enchilada is complete. As for the burger, it was more simple than the enchiladas but equally as delicious. The onion bread was very good and I could have even had that with the sauces it came with. The whole thing together was perfect. For desert- I knew I had to get this the second my eyes saw it. The strawberry ginger coconut cake. It was like a creamy thick mouse consistency and tasted like strawberry ice cream or sherbert without the cold part. It was very good and I would have regretted it had I not tried it, so I'm very happy I did. Even though its just a simple slice it's pretty filling so you could share it or save some for later like I did so I can dream about it tonight in my sleep and have some more tomorrow night for desert :) As to the service: Mandeep is the guy who helped us. He is sooooo cool and friendly. He gave us the best food options and I was pleased with all his recommendations. He also chilled with us and spoke to us about all the good things the restaurant has to offer and how it started. The restaurant also has a cute couch which we sat on to eat dinner. Very cozy and peaceful. If I could give this place 10 stars I would cause I don't eat vegan food that often but this place made it pleasant and tasty. Hope they open one closer to me.

Expensive, not filling. I dabble in raw quite a bit and can go weeks eating only raw, vegan food so I know that you can have a satiating raw food experience. I keep trying ELR to see if I can find something that I can order again and again since I work so close. So far the handroll (sushi), the italian pizza, the three salads, and cacao maca smoothie, I wouldn't order again. They just weren't tasty and filling enough for the price, which is really way too much. Come on you guys, let's make this vegan raw food accessible to others. What I would order as my main lunch meal again is the dessert parfait. It's incredible and so filling. It's all I need for lunch. Word of warning though is that it's rather rich so be careful. Also, the coco haystacks are cheap and yummy ($2 for one) when I just want a little something sweet. I am going to give ELR one more try and order the taco salad b/c it sounds filling. Fingers crossed!

I love this place! I came in after a YogaWorks meeting one day to grab a salad. I decided to do the 2-week raw food cleanse and I have been hooked ever since. Not only is their food ABSOLUTELY AMAZING (Tiger Roll & Red Enchilada are my favs!) but the restaurant itself is just a pleasure to visit. Everyone who works here is cool, they are all down to earth and Zat, the owner is always around. He speaks to all the customers and is very well versed in the benefits of raw food. It's one of my favorite places to go to in LA. If you are not used to raw food don't expect to eat a raw burger and have it taste like a regular veggie burger...open your mind and your palate and you will fall in love with this place like all the other regular patrons do.

I'm vegetarian recently turned vegan and this place is awesome! I was vegetarian for 23 years and never EVER thought I could be satisfied without dairy... but Euphoria Loves Rawvolution changed my mind! The desserts are amazing, the raw chocolate and the green dragon roll prove that you don't have to deny yourself flavor when you eat raw vegan. The vibe is pure love in there. I promise, you will leave feeling elevated, not only because of the food being made with love, but the high vibrations of the space itself. It must be experienced to be appreciated!

The biggest ripoff in Santa Monica. This place is the perfect illustration for those who claim eating well is too expensive, and so break down and order that Whopper. Today was the fourth time I've eaten at Euphoria and without fail, I leave this restaurant hungry, angry, and feeling ripped off, having spent waaaaay too much money for far too little food. The puny size of the "Big Matt" meatless patty is laughable. Eleven dollars for this??? I nearly demanded my money back. When I did bring the issue up with one of the workers, I was told that the price was so high because the cost of production was so high. I call bullshit. I was a vegetarian for three years. Even now I try to eat well, and I know for a fact there is no reason I should be paying eleven dollars for a meatless patty the size of a silver dollar. After three visits, wanting so badly to like the food and the service and the vibes, I have to say that they have lost a customer. I will not be eating at Euphoria again, and I will make a point of letting friends and family know what I think of it. For such a cute place, with such a cool vibe, it boggles the mind how awful an experience it is. Having spoken with some co-workers, I know I am not alone. UPDATE 9/29/09: Today I decided to give the place another chance. Maybe I'd been too hard on it. I ordered the Greek Flatbread Pizza. 12 bucks. When the server brought me my order I was immediately flooded with anger. How stupid was I that I hadn't learned my lesson? That I kept giving this place chance after chance after chance only to leave starving and lighter in the wallet time after time after time? This time it's sunk in. Screw eu, phoria.

This place gets a one-star for 1) extremely slow service and 2) food that comes out of the kitchen looking nothing like what you had ordered. The noodle dishes we ordered were covered in some weird sauces and tasted pretty bad. I don't know if this is normal or not for Vegan restaurants but if you are not super into vegan foods - I would advise staying away.

I've been eating here for years now, and the place has certainly gone through lots and lots of changes. The food has gotten better and more varied, the menu that used to be up behind the register came down (why you would take down the menu with products you are selling I have no idea), and the staff is as rude as ever. But I keep coming back. I have to say, I felt so much better reading all the other Yelp reviews saying that they dealt with staff who were rude or just ignored them. I always felt that maybe I just didn't look cool enough or rich enough to be treated well. Its so "cliquey" when you walk in there, you end up feeling like you are in high school again. I agree, for a place that is all about sustaining the earth, making better and more conscience choices about what you eat and do, these people treat their patrons like shit. But hey guys, you live in LA and that is how most people act. Just kill 'em with kindness and always be nice and smile, you just might make someone else's day. HOWEVER, all that being said, the food is very good. You cannot go in there with expectations similar to what you would get if you were eating at another non-raw restaurant. 1) To buy local, sustainable, and truly organic products is going to run the cost of your food up, so don't expect low prices. 2) Its in Santa Monica right near the beach + Trendy place with high rent = Your food will cost more. 3) Raw food takes an incredible amount of time to prepare...trust me, its a bitch to do. Hence the reason they offer "The Box," because its just too hard to have a normal job and eat raw. I digress. The preparation that goes into the food takes so much more time and labor than cooked food, that it results in less food on your plate and a higher cost for you. 4) Being that raw food has so much more natural and HEALTHY fat in it, as well as being much more nutritionally dense that cooked for, there is no need to eat as much as you are used to eating elsewhere. We as Americans eat way too much to begin with. If you don't understand, then learn your nutrition and learn about why eating Raw is better for you, and then you will understand. 5) A burger here will not be anything like a burger elsewhere. A slice of "bread" here won't be anything like a slice of bread elsewhere. Tuna here won't be anything like tuna elsewhere. Get where I am going with this? Don't have those expectations and you won't be so disappointed. The textures, amounts, ingredients, preparation, growing, handling, and cost of this food is different from anything else you are used to. Go into Rawvolution knowing that (and remembering that you will be treated like shit by the staff) and you will have a much more enjoyable time. By the way, I LOVE the nachos, the coconut-haystacks, and the "egg salad." The young coconuts are a super rip-off because you can get them from an Asain market or farmer's market for about $1 each. GOOD EATING!

Just to clarify I'm not a raw vegan. This is the best raw vegan restaurant I've been to because the food isn't awful (looking at you Leaf) and the service isn't awful (Juliano's). I haven't had anything here that I would describe as bland. They really know how to use herbs and spices in the food. The people who work here are friendly and helpful and have a good sense of humor. They do want you to enjoy the food, I have seen them offering to bring people a different dessert when they didn't like it. Sometimes you do have to wait a long time to order, but there aren't that many employees and it gets busy in there. At least it doesn't take long to "cook" the food, right? I always get the Tiger Roll (veggies in a coconut curry wrap). It is really good and not "good for raw vegan food," seriously good. It comes with a dill cucumber salad that is awesome. They have a dessert case and vegan gelato for dessert. Also, they have breakfast. The Banana Yogurt Chi shake can be taken to go and is delicious and great for a quick breakfast. This place is expensive, but they have local, organic ingredients so that's not cheap. You get good, fresh ingredients in all the dishes. Even the basic Cafe Salad has a lot of avocado on it. I'd recommend this place when you're looking for a healthy meal.

I've been to several Raw Restaurants and this is by far my favorite. I stopped in for lunch and got their stuffed jalapeno peppers from the snack menu as well as their vegetable curry salad. While, they were both spicy they were amazing. The jalapeno pepper were dehydrated peppers in some sort of crumbs, with a nut/cheese sauce. they came out on a plate with flower petals scattered over the dish to add delightful color. To me they were better than regular stuffed jalapenos and that is saying a lot. The curry salad included marinated broccoli, cauliflower, and cucumber, in a light creamy spice with a lot of kick. Euphoria also has a lot of items for sale, the cleansing teas appeared to be a big hit.

Oh boy there is some serious hippie action at this place. I'm usually not a fan of our patchouli oil wearing friends but the food here is good enough that i can ignore the bizarre tie dye linen pants and sea shells braided into hair to enjoy the food. As far as raw goes I think they do the best job in the city. The Jerk Coconut sandwich is delish and some of the deserts are amazing. they also have a fantastic sampler plate that is good for newbies. so toss on your crystal necklace and your jesus sandals and downward dog your ass to Santa Monica for some mystical belly healin!

If you care anything about the health of your body, you can eat at Euphoria and know that you are in good hands. You want to talk about purity, this restaurant is as pure as it gets. The owners Matt and Janabai (spelling?) are the real deal. My absolute favorite dish here is the Superfood Soup. I order it extra thick (they add more avacado). This is something my body craves now--that's how healthy it is! Powerful!!! The people who work there live the lifestyle as well. Walk in and you do feel like a hippy from the 70's. It's all good. I love looking into all the employees' eyes. Pure beauty. My favorite young lady is Brynn (shoot, not sure of the spelling here either). She is such an exotic beauty--from the inside out! This is a place most people will complain about the price. If you know anything about what it takes to eat a raw food diet, you will know that there is a massive amount of preparation that has to take place to make this food easy to digest and rich in taste. Pay the money, your body is worth it!

Even if I wasn't trying to become a raw foodie, this place would STILL be my new addiction. Everything is fantastic! I highly recommend the Lentil Soup, the nachos (VERY FILLING, fyi), the stir-not-fry veggies, the zucchini pasta (with the marinara sauce & marinated mushrooms = perfection! and it's healthy!!), the Nori roll with added avocado, and the marinated greens. Dessert - go with the chocolate coconut haystacks or ANY of the cakes! They also have box of food that you can pick up once a week (Mondays) or have mailed to you; it's a great way to go if you don't have a lot of time to cook during the week. The price is perfect for the amount of food you receive, and the best part is that it's already in a to-go box - perfect to grab in the morning before work!

First experience: March 14, 2010. Pi Day. I tried a slice of chocolate pie, and it was pretty good... but it was $8 for just one slice. Prices like that really make you try to savor your meal, you know? Second experience: May 18, 2010. Date night. We order the zucchini pasta, half sun-dried tomato marinara and half pesto, and the Tiger Roll from the daily specials. The tomato sauce was too salty and the pesto sauce was too bland, but the accompanying triangle of raw "bread" was really good. I thought the tiger roll was fantastic, but I had to go easy on the strong peanuty dipping sauce. Price: ~$25. I'd say this place is pretty hit-or-miss. Go for the daily specials or ask for recommendations. The casual atmosphere here is definitely a plus, so you can easily strike up conversations with the staff and customers milling about the register. But given the location and style of cuisine, ELR has a rather particular clientele - take their recommendations with a grain of salt. ; )

Not as good as Cafe Gratitude. The mock bean hummus was a little bitter. The broccolini was fine. I couldn't eat the PB & J due to the fresh strawberries (I'm allergic). And, they took absolutely forever. But, I support the raw foods movement and cannot give it less than 3 stars just based on principle. So, take my review with a grain of salt. Uncooked salt. And, we got to watch them film a reality show about fashion.

I went here a few months ago and had the almond milk yogurt with strawberries and granola, as well as the seaweed soup with avocado and cucumber. Both dishes were great, and as a bonus, we were cuddling (borderline inappropriate?) on the lounge/couch by the window. a server came over and we both sat up quickly and he goes, "no, no, what's what those couches are for!" bottom line: really nice people and great food, if you want raw/vegan.

Yes, the food is expensive, but it is totally worth it. A) you WILL be FULL for the WHOLE DAY!!! Even though the portions are small. B) You will have tons of energy, you will not be tired after eating there. C) Anybody who is on a diet with no refined carbohydrates, no soy, and no meat, that knows vegan food knows that that is probably as cheap as it gets. Seriously, trying making these stuff yourself. The service is very chill, the atmosphere is extremely calm, I go there to find zin. Also, their water is AMAZING!!! So get a shake if you are on the move, otherwise, order something delicious (like the pai thai and bacon cheese burger).

I work & live up the street from this place - it's one of the best raw foods on the westside with a full assortment of kombucha, coconut & revitalizing beverages & full dessert case (yum!). The raw bruschetta is amazing, tomatoes on a thick onion "bread" with pesto....also the coconut haystacks dessert is the bomb. The place is usually filled up with hippies and loners reading , and you can sit inside or outside during a nice day (the seating inside offers tables and benches or a loungey couchy area). Staff is friendly and seems to fit the vibe. If you're going to pick up , order ahead as the food takes a few minutes to prepare.

Well, heck. I wanted to love this place and was EAGER to be a regular customer of their box program, but instead I'll probably just keep it in mind as a "better than nothing" option. To be fair, I have never eaten in the restaurant, but I did order "the box" of raw foods (4 entrees, 4 sides, 2 soups, 2 desserts, $120 -- a fair price in my book, and generous servings of each). I was first disappointed that I read on the website "all orders placed before midnight on Sunday will arrive Monday evening" (in Los Angeles) and then awoke on Monday to find an email saying my box had been given to FedEx and would arrive sometime on Tuesday afternoon. I got it after work on Tuesday, a good 36 hours after the food had been prepared (by my estimation). By Saturday, most of what I had left was not very fresh (pretty darn unfresh, actually). When I asked via email for explanation or if better delivery arrangements could be made in the future, I got no response. I also didn't feel good about the packaging I was unable to recycle. I had imagined a real life delivery man and a transfer from his cooler to my refrigerator. What I was left with instead was a cardboard box, a plastic ice chest (similar to bubble wrap), and two ice packs (reusable, at least, but not really wanted and were I to be a regular customer....what on earth was I to do with all those ice packs?). As for the quality of the food itself... What was good was nowhere near as good as Sun Cafe or Cafe Gratitude. What was bad was merely bland. I had to add garlic and chilies to the stir-fry just to finish it. I left my tuna salad without my name on it in the fridge at work and the janitorial staff tossed it when they did the cleaning. My fault, to be sure, but when I discovered it was gone I was kind of relieved that I wouldn't have to feel guilty for not finishing it. The desserts were really good. The pizza would have probably been good if it hadn't been five days old before I got around to eating it. I feel bad about the lack of positive comments because I am a firm believer in raw foods and had been very hopeful about this place. I think sometimes people genuinely start off with good intentions but then start feeling so darn good about themselves instead the actual work begins to suffer. From my experience and many of the reviews I have read here, I can't help but wonder if that's what has happened to Rawvolution. That said, I feel they deserve at least a shot at your business, so give them a (cautious) try. My experience may have been a fluke.

Let me start by saying I'm a die-hard steak-scarfing carnivore. That said, I ate myself silly at RAWvolution; I love, love, loved that crazy shit. I ordered a "cheese burger" which came on a dehydrated, oniony "flatbread that was chewy and delicious. My friend ordered "eggless egg salad" which was almost better than the real thing (okay, so I haven't eaten egg salad since third grade -- perhaps I'm not the best judge of it, but just sayin'.) We shared "mock tuna salad" and a couple of the other salads that the guy at the counter recommended -- the best part was they came with more of that chewy, flaky flatbread. We then split three desserts -- which rocked. Fruity, creamy "cheesecakes" or something and chocolate coconut haystacks which were so yummy, I had to get some to go. To be honest, we got there at around 3:00pm and I hadn't eaten all day, so I was FAMISHED, but I don't think it was just the lack-of-sustenance-stupor that was talking; it was really great food. For vegan raw stuff...

I've eaten here quite a few times so I feel this review is fair. I've also eaten at other raw restaurants - one in the same neighborhood which is incomparable in my opinion. I also suspect Euphoria has copied many of their dishes from the other place but, unfortunately they're 're not able to execute them as well. I like raw food, but sometimes it's way too complicated and heavy. Especially at this place. I have gotten bad indigestion almost every time I've had one of the more complicated dishes here and I'm pretty certain it's because they don't soak their nuts for long enough (I have never had this problem eating at other raw food restaurants or nut pates etc..). One time I had the "Holy Macro Bowl" and despite my nose and tastebuds telling me that the sauce was past its prime I ate it anyway and my stomach paid dearly. I have never really had a main dish here that has impressed me. All of my negative comments being said, they do have some good stuff here. Most of the smoothies and desserts are pretty good. Their 'simple' kale chips are tasty. Every other kale chip I've tried has way too much cashew and seasoning crap. The sea dragon roll is good if your looking for something more substantial and their jalapeño poppers are bomb

The Nachos, Chocolate Durian smoothie, and Mulberry pie were all wonderful. The staff was also very friendly. I thought the smoothie was overpriced for what I got, but the nachos & pie were inexpensive in comparison. I'll go back. There's a ton of options on the menu I'd like to try.

On a roadtrip north, I was fortunate to be staying in Santa Monica within walking distance of one of my friend's favorite raw vegan restaurants - Rawvolution. I was hungry after my morning beach run/walk and quickly decided on the Avocado "Scramble" along with a cup of Longevity coffee with homemade almond milk. Enjoyed the beauty of the plating and pure goodness of the food. The serene surroundings on a weekday morning just enhanced my meal! I plan to return to sample more of the menu

This place is pretty good. I enjoyed the Big Matt burger the first time I visited and more recently the other burger and the Red Enchilada's (though a tiny bit spicy). I thought everything was great because it is organic, raw, high quality, vegan. I can't say it is the best raw place however. I feel the price is a little high for both quantity and taste. It IS good, and yet it is not necessarily like OMG over the top good like two other raw places in the area I can think of. I am happy they serve Reverse Osmosis water to drink. I thought the waiter was very kind and I appreciated his thoughts on what was good and what he didn't like as much. Next time I want to try that super foods pie. Pretty good experience 3.5 stars. :)

So glad this place exists. I only wish there was parking. The customer service can be slow but everyone is exceptionally nice. The food is consistent and I LOVE the fact that they started serving Longevity coffee. It's not easy to find mycotoxin free coffee. I enjoy Bulletproof coffee (another mycotoxin free option) but I find the Longevity coffee has a smoother flavor, without the acid notes. The Big Matt with cheeze it pretty great but my most recent fave is the tiger roll. Not big enough to be a meal on its own IMO but makes a great side when you split it with someone. My friend and I split one of those and the nachos and we were super full.

We had an amazing brunch and lunch at Rawvolution yesterday. The food is outstanding! The prizes very fair and it's organic on top. Even we don't eat that way all the time, Rawvolution has dishes to offer we just love and enjoy a lot. The service is great! Coming in, I always feel welcome and appreciated. We filmed all ur favorite dishes, take a look, it will help you to decide what to get rawismyreligion.com/rawv… We absolutely in love with the Mexican Pizza and the Nachos Grande. Also the burgers are great. We haven't tried all the dessert yet, but they all look amazing. For breakfast, we would totally recommend the bagel and the scramble. I can not imagine my life without their onion bread, I get it with every dish on the side. They have a great selection of organic juices and salads here for a lighter meal.

I'm not vegan but I do like places like cafe gratitude and native foods. The raw food aspect is a little less appealing. I personally don't like when vegan items are named after their imitation when they bear almost no resemblance to the original cause it's a total misnomer. Not being very hungry, I ordered the apple bread and sampled from what my friends ordered. Apple bread is dehydrated such that it has the texture of a fruit roll up. Definitely should not be called bread when it has the texture of jerky. The pad Thai was kinda gross, and was too sweet. There is no way anyone would think of it as a vegan pad Thai. The saving grace were the nachos (delicious, but also something you could easily make yourself) and the zucchini noodle pesto. Prices here are pretty high for what you get, organic or not. It is a pleasant, casual cafe though and they were very nice about letting us hang out for awhile.

Got the awesomest raw shake with raw almond milk and goji and greens and spirulina, e3live. It was so nutritious and not too sweet. It cost $22. Omg. It is expensive to have raw superfoods. But worth it I believe. Will be back on my trips to the area.

I LOVE this place. Anyone who doesn't love it most likely won't like any raw vegan restaurants. I ordered the stuffed peppers and a "burger" along with the "nachos". I loved everything about it. Great tea, smoothies, etc. Only downside could be the price, which is higher than if you went to In N Out, but average for this type of dining. If you aren't into raw food, this place may be too far out there for you. It is on the extreme side of the raw dining experience.

First time here at rawvolution cafe and absolutely loved it! The staff member named Juan was very kind, polite and quite humorous on a professional level. I was highly impressed on how it seemed like he was the only person working this evening and still managed provide great customer service check on my table. We ordered the breakfast parfait, Krishna, and nachos. For dessert we ordered the raw fudge which was to die for! ( sorry forgot to take a picture of it) Absolutely the best place for desserts! I am a huge chocolate fanatic and it is quite difficult finding the perfect tasting vegan chocolate desserts. I definitely recommend this place to anyone vegan or not.

Amazing service, food, and atmosphere! DUDE -- delicious raw junk food for THE SOUL; flavor, texture, LIFE -- the whole bit!!!!!!!!!! So real. Big Love.

Just went in for coffee and a sweet. The woman the register was super friendly, the dude making coffee was an ahole to me. Made me wait while he chatted with someone else, then the coffee I got was bitter as all hell and lukewarm. I told him so much, and he said it was the batch and there was nothing he could do. I said it had been probably sitting for awhile, can't he make a new batch? Homeboy was not interested in what I had to say. I ended up having to tattle to the lady at the register, who was so kind and tried to make it right, and eventually refunded my money. I mean it's $4 but I should get a damn coffee that I like for $4! That's not cheap!!!! The coffee gave me the death stare as I complained about him and his bitter gross coffee. Gad I hate making a big deal of these things, but it's coffee - just get it right! Worst part is that I put money into the meter to go in here, then returned empty handed with no caffeine. Sad.

Rawvolution has undergone a few facelifts over the last couple of years. I dig their most recent aesthetic choices, modernizing the flow of the space and upgrading the granola-hippie feel to something a little more contemporary. I've had friendly service but a little slow on bringing the food out. The menu selection has been streamlined and the prices have gone up as well, which makes it a bittersweet evolution. Last weekend I ordered a large Superfood soup "to go" and it was $19.50. That is a bit hefty, IMO. It's delicious and healthy, but not that delicious and healthy. :/ The coconut jerky is amazing, and I am a big fan of the cocophoria sandwich (as a wrap it's even better) and the red enchilada. But the prices make this less of a Santa Monica staple and more of a splurge for me nowadays.

We stumbled upon Rawvolution after deciding against waiting in the extremely long line at Urth Caffe. The food the diners were eating in the tables outside the restaurant looked delicious, so we gave this place a shot. The atmosphere was calming and the place was filled with health products, juices, and other goodies for health nuts. I ordered the avocado "egg" scramble and my friend made her own mixed salad. I don't know what the "egg" was made out of but it had a hummus like consistency and made an interesting dip for the homemade nachos. The mushrooms tasted great. I was pleasantly satiated and the waiter was extremely accomodating and nice. I wish I could have tried some of the desserts on display. But the little problem is that I saw my meal was charged twice on my card. One for the meal and one for the meal including the tip. I was confused and called the place, which took forever to talk to an employee because they didn't have an option for a direct customer line unless you have an extension code. Tip: Just press zero, and your call will be transferred. I told the guy about the problem, and he told me to wait a couple of days and see if the other payment is cancelled, and that there is nothing they can do about it now. So hopefully this problem will be fixed without my having to go through further involvement. Other than this little slip up, I enjoyed this little joint with their relaxing atmosphere and health conscious food.

Echhhh......No thank you. We walked in at 9:30 am and they didn't even have coffee brewed yet! So we waited 10 mins for the waiter for figure it out. The coffee was meh. And I guess soy milk isn't "raw" so they gave me almond milk. Ew, I'll never adulterate my coffee with almond milk ever agin. I tried drinking my coffee but ending up trashing it and going down the street to Aussie Pie Kitchen for a flat white instead. Pretty disappointing. The food? I didn't bother to try.

We stumbled across this place after we decided we didn't want to wait in the long line for Urth Cafe. The atmosphere was really cute and we didn't have to wait to be seated. WARNING: There is coconut in EVERYTHING! I personally don't like coconut and so I wanted to get a drink without it. When I first asked to get my drink without coconut, the waiter offered to replace the coconut water with coconut sugar. I decided to go with the hot chocolate and the green tea latte...and they both had coconut flakes mixed in! I wish I waited in the line for Urth Cafe.

Rawvolution is packed with awesome dishes and a neat looking environment. The music and vibe is friendly and inviting. I had the chocolate pie which was beyond tasty. The chips n bacon burger really did it for me and it comes with a side salad. The burger for sure has flavor and lots of ingredients. This place is on point so I suggest getting your rawvolution on here!

I love Rawvolution. I get tired of not enough variety in warm drinks especially that are healthy and I found heaven here! I absolutely love the Krishna full of herbs and a delicious taste which is caffeine free. I found the Chai to be wonderful as well it isn't heavy in any spice more of a soothing nutty milky drink so nice. The coconut jerky I could eat everyday of the week and I'm not a person who likes any sort of jerky but coconut and this wonderful cashew mayo that comes with it is divine. This is definitely one of those place that you will find something special that you won't be able to get anywhere else. I give it thumbs up for its healthy and unique food. Where else can you order coconut jerky and a Krishna? Om Shanti

Super cute place. Laid back. I got a green juice here and it was pretty good. The girl that helped me ( I think her name is Anna was really helpful and sweet) I say back on a comfy couch and started reading the book named after the restaurant. Great info and really motivating on reasons to go raw. I look forward to trying the food next time I come by.

Great healthy clean food. I'm am new to vegan food and this was definitely pushing my perceived boundaries of what food should taste like. The taco salad was great but the smoothie rode the line between amazing and not so amazing. Danielle or server was friendly and warm. We'll be back!

being a carnivore(yeah bitches thats right i eat meat to absorb the power of others), I am quite the skeptic on places like this. But you know what? .. it was pretty dam delicious, it was not orgasmiclly good and did not make me experience lesbian midgets having sex in my mouth as Barry white played in the background but it was good and filling. If i was adding carbs into my body i would hit this place up more. the staff was also awesome and helped a carnivore like me choose something that is "meaty" the pad thai .

Excellent! We had the Big Matt and Cheese, the Mexican pizza and the Caesar salad. All of it was amazing. So fresh and flavorful, why eat anywhere else when you are in the area? Great service, friendly atmosphere... We'll be back for more!

I love that there is a restaurant that caters to this demographic. I also love that they try their best to recreate some of the more common dishes you might find at less restrictive restaurants. I'm not vegan, so that's the perspective my review is coming from. I really liked the atmosphere and the chill vibe here. Definitely has an "off the beach" feel to it. My friends and I tried several different things. For non-vegans looking for something that most resembles the original dish, you should order the nachos. That was pretty bomb. Didn't feel like anything was missing! I also liked the zucchini pasta. The sauces they offer are pesto, sun-dried tomato, and alfredo. You can choose one, or any combination of the three. I only had the pesto sauce, and the flavor wasn't that strong, so I might try some combination of the three next time. We also ordered the pad thai, but that was the only dish we didn't finish. Keep in mind that none of us are vegan, so we weren't used to the texture of kelp noodles and egg-fu. The flavor of the dish wasn't even close to what pad thai tastes like, so I felt like the dishes name is a bit of a misnomer. The coconut meat was tasty though! The desserts looked delicious, but didn't have the appetite to try them this time. They've got free wifi, good coffee, and plugs, so it could be a great place to get some work done too!

My husband and I went here yesterday and were very disappointed. We spent $50 on two salads, 1 coffee and 1 tomato appetizer. The tomato appetizer with walnut pesto was good but the salads were awful. Mine was called the superfood salad and it has seaweed, kale and baby greens. Additionally there was some tomatoes and just a few skimpy pieces of avocado. I think it had a little oil but this thing was so dry I felt like a rabbit. I had to order an additional side of tahini dressing just to make it edible. My husband's salad was similar. I can't remember the name but it was the $18 one. The description was awesome and had like 20 things in it but he felt the same as me, just a bunch of undressed kale and it was dry as hell. I made a point to finish mine because it was so expensive. I was going to take my husband home with me to eat later but he mixed all the nasty seaweed in so it was inedible. My husband did say the coffee was good. Of note, I am now a vegan and eat raw food all the time so this wasn't simply an "I don't like healthy food or salads" kind of review. We were surprised that the kale hadn't been macerated in lemon juice prior to servicing to take away it's roughness (I though everyone knew that). The other Yelp reviews here are good so maybe we just ordered the wrong things but a raw place not making a good salad just doesn't seem to make any sense...

  • Shawn R.

I can't give this place 4 or 5 stars for the following: 1) I only enjoy a few items from the menu, such as the superfood soup w/ added kale chips, the coconut mocha dream, and the coconut jerky. 2) The service is incredibly slow. I've been witness to a wait time of 20 plus minutes for a coffee, and there was only one or two customers. They have a habit of getting sidetracked in conversations, and it slows the process down considerably. 3) Price-wise this place is out of control. $8 for the coconut mocha dream. $5-$6 would be ideal, and they could sell a lot more. All of these things are fixable, and I would still recommend this place to anyone looking for healthy food.

  • Aimée M.

The food is definately 5 star, but there are other things bringing the rating down. I ordered a pizza for $12, so I thought I'd get a mini pizza right? No! What came was a little square of pizza, literally 5 bites worth maximum with a little side salad. It was expensive but I also tried the spirulina pie, because I wanted to know what it tasted like. I have ate at other similar restaurants just as good for half the price in Santa Monica. Way overpriced. The service was a little slow too. My plate was empty and I was just sitting there, no one to ask me if I wanted dessert or my check, so I got up and went to the register myself to order my dessert and pay for my meal. However I really like the gluten free, no vegan, GMO, organic, raw all natural food concept. Sometimes you have to pick and choose from menus to get exactly what you are looking for, but all of the food here was absolutely clean eating!

Let me make it clear that I'm not a vegan person however a friend of mine came to town and she wanted to try the place so I was happy to oblige and join her there for a lunch along with a third friend of ours We ordered few items to try different things and our order was (Breakfast Burrito, Tiger Roll, Hemp seed Tabouli, Nachos, one more pasta or noodle dish I forgot the name) The servers were very nice and accommodating but our plate literary took about 50 minutes to come out to me it was odd since we are eating raw food after all and this was way over the top for taking that long given they were a little busy not a full house and when I asked one of the servers about the food she said there is only 1 cook in the back doing everything and they will be out soon So now the food came out and I have to say it did not live up for the hype and here is the problem I notice it was lacking flavor and spices the tiger roll the veggies were fresh and good the sauce was bland and I can say the same for Tabouli as well it was on the bland side. The breakfast burrito was ok nothing special but the one thing that was very good was the Nacho I enjoyed the blue corn chips and the spices were great it was recommended by the server and great choice I might add Before we left I picked up few chocolate truffle like and chocolate cake those were good but the amount of time and the price I did spend there does not make me want to come back there again.

BEWARE!!!! I drove from Studio City for over 20 minutes at 2 different occasions at close to 9 and they were closed the 2nd time again!! First time, it was exactly 9 and they said "we never close at 9 it's just today" which turns out to be a lie!! It's currently 9:10 I'm in the front posting this review and their hours say they close at 10!! ( waste of time twice )

Rawvolution was a pleasant surprise! I am not a raw foodist by any means, but my friend is, and she took me here. At first, the concept of raw food seemed almost a bit scary. Nothing is cooked, and it is not what i am used to. I thought people who ate raw food just ate grass, but rawvolution proved me wrong! The staff was super friendly, and I liked the chill/ laid back hippy vibe of the restaurant. My friend and I got 3 dishes that the server recommended and split them all. We got the chips and bacon sandwich, the california roll, and the nachos. They were amazing. the flavors and textures were spot on. I am super impressed with rawvolution. I recommend it to anyone who is skeptical about raw food! I will be back!

I am not a raw foodie and I was super impressed with the nachos. Delicious and filling. The coffee drink I had was incredible and don't even get me started on the desserts. That pastry chef knows what he's doing! Highly recommended for people who may not eat raw all the time.

Take your bias and dump it on the compost heap. Because ELR Cafe defies definition. After only two meals -- lunch and dinner in the same day -- it has already become one of my favorite restaurants on the planet. What makes ELR so special? 1. The Food. Shouldn't that be a restaurant's fundamental mark of excellence? ELR's food -- from soup to nuts, literally -- is off the charts. They offer a variety of dishes that will blow your mind, using the freshest (healthiest) ingredients and incredibly imaginative combinations. I cannot begin to describe the deliciousness. Check out the menu on their website or, better yet, go to rawvolution.com and look at their actual ingredients. And while you're there, sign up for their Raw Food Delivery service. I just did. As I said, I can't possibly adequately describe how tasty their food is. But I can recommend a few gastrorgasmic dishes. Try the hummus. It's better than any I've ever had, including in the Mediterranean or Middle East. Follow that with a sandwich on onion bread or a Sea Dragon roll or a taco salad, and finish with an Aztec Maca Shake. Ridiculously delicious, deliciously ridiculous. So. Now. Notice. I haven't even mentioned the word "raw" yet. Why? Because that descriptor is not relevant, when describing the indescribable flavors these geniuses have assembled. This isn't great raw food. It's great food. Period. But as long as I've broached the subject: the afore mentioned hummus contains no beans (WHAT?!), the onion bread contains no grain (REALLY?!), and the Aztec Maca Shake contains no "sweetener." Hard to believe, even before you taste one of these masterpieces. But true. I'm forcing myself to move on. Just as I had to yesterday, after dinner. Suffice to say: I've now looking for an apartment near 2301 Main Street, Santa Monica. And that's not a joke. 2. The People. Every single person we encountered at ELR -- we met five employees -- was patient (showing us list after list of ingredients), friendly, and enthusiastic about the menu. And why wouldn't they rave about the food? They get to eat there every day they clock in. 3. The Vibe. Meditation cards on the tables, stunning original art on the walls, a comfortable couch, open mic night, a feel of community. ELR has it all. Trust me. This place is as good as it gets.

While I haven't dined in, I did pay for their "Box", which is a weeks supply of food. It was expensive and lacked creativity or taste. For that much money, I expect more than borscht and some gritty tasting entrees. I got into the Raw thing from the other placed called Raw and hoped this would be similarly great. You got your money out of me Rawvolution... once.

Absolutley wonderful. The best raw food around. Creative and oh so healthy. After a meal you feel refreshed! Corn salad, beet soup, Thai slaw and the deserts are to die for. I got "The Box" and there was enough for 2 people to enjoy. BIG recomendation!!

I don't get what the fuss is with this place. It's a total joke. I have been here three times to give it a fair chance and I have been let down all three times. First off, the employee's are very cold. The "sushi rolls" are not tasty at all. The "cheeseburgers" were way to salty and were a let down. Even the sides are way to salted. The only think I liked was the zucchini pasta. The rest was way to salty and overpriced. I guess if you are a raw foodie you are stuck with "Saltvolution" and "Rudiano's." To make matter's worse, a former employee of this place ran into my car( which was parked right in front of Rawvolution) while I was eating here. She claimed she was "fasting" because she was detoxing. Turns out she had no insurance and no address. I think what turned me off the most was how they treated me after my car was side swiped by an X employee. Instead of helping me get legitimate information from the "broad" that hit my car they just ignored me and asked the X employee if she was ok. Just my luck eh? So use your judgement. I bet you can make a better raw meal at home.

This is a different, fun place. I'm not a vegan or vegetarian, but I love this place. I've been a few times and have never encountered snooty service. In fact, when I ask, they're open about sharing their personal favorites. And with yelp reviews, I've been able to have some yummy items. The zucchini noodles with szechwan sauce is pretty good. Fyi, they're crunchy, juicy, thin, long strips of actual zucchini. If you like zucchini, you'll love it. If you don't, I'd recommend something else. The big matt with cheese was also pretty good. I don't like burgers that taste like meat, so I hesitated, but this tasted like a really interesting nutty/grainy patty and the thin kind of salty onion bread was good too. And for dessert, the chocolately-coconutty little balls are pretty good. They're rich and very coconutty, so I can't ever have more than 1 at a time, but you can get a deal if you buy 3 and just take 2 home! My mom loved them since they weren't too sweet. So, I agree this place is pricey, but honestly, it's worth it to me. I couldn't make any of these dishes at home. I'd rather spend $12 on a crazy creative noodle dish made of zucchini or $11 on an even more creative nut-veggie patty burger than any amount on spaghetti I could easily make myself! Seriously, despite it's crazy name, give this place a try!

Friend: "My sister's having her birthday at this raw vegan place in Santa Monica." Me: "Uh... OK...." I mean don't get me wrong.... I eat healthy, but raw and vegan? Boy... this place sure surprised me. Great food! Prices were decent. Service was pretty bad. The waitresses were extremely nice just so slow. Lay off the leaves and bring over my food in less time than it takes to cultivate some mushrooms... Overall, good raw experience.

This is my favorite raw food restaurant (I mostly eat vegetarian but occasionally have meat). I think the food is very tasty and the restaurant is very committed to environmentally sustainable practices. The seats are comfortable, though the stools not so much. You can hang out as long as you want and it has local artists displayed. The only problems I have with the place is the service - definitely don't go if you are in any kind of hurry - how can raw food possibly take this long?....... and it is pricey.

I'm a raw food lover by accident. My girlfriend maintains a 100% raw diet and I now try all of her crazy raw culinary experiments. I really do like some of them and I enjoy and appreciate the health benefits. I can honestly say that I am much happier both physically and mentally after increasing the amount of greens, veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds and other raw food delicacies in my daily diet. I've tried 4 raw restaurants in LA., Planet Raw (Juliano's), Cru in Silverlake, Sun Power and Rawvolution. They all have there pros and con's, none of them are perfect. The main criticism I have of all of them is they forget that for most people going to a restaurant isn't always just about the food, or even good service, it is about the overall dinning experience. The setting, the chairs, the neighborhood, the parking and the atmosphere. RAWvolution gets good marks for there raw food menu. The kelp noodles Pad Thai and the Nachos with walnut taco "meat" are really tasty and filling. You can't go wrong with the Coconut Jerky. The Big Matt with Cheese is probably the most popular dish. Just yummy overall. The desserts and are so excellent too. The atmosphere is beach bohemian and very shabby chic. Although one time we went there on our date night and they had a live band that just rambled and talked for half an hour. The place was so packed that there were no good chairs to sit on, just really uncomfortable folding chairs. The place was really loud and busy, and pretty much was not the romantic atmosphere we were craving. (Call ahead!) My biggest criticism of RAWvolution is the service. They do not have table service, you have to order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Cool, i get it, similar to Urth Cafe down the street. But where Urth succeeds and RAWvolution fails is that Urth has a huge staff and can handle a rush of customers. I've been in RAWvolution a handful of times and there are always numerous tables with dirty dishes on them, flies buzzing about. The last time I was there I had to ask a girl behind the counter (who was doing nothing, oblivious to all the dirty tables) to clean off one of the tables, so we could sit down. So she cleans the table off, wipes it with a wet rag and leaves. So now I'm stuck with a wet table, I go to find her, she's already helping someone with there order at the counter. And I have to wait because I don't want to be rude to guy giving his order. This place would be better if they had regular table service. It would feel more personal and the waiters would be more focused on the tables. To sum up, I find the service to be lacking, based on multiple experiences. And it really frustrates me, because the food is pretty good.

I ate here with my girlfriend a little while ago and I have to say, I did not get it. Perhaps because I did not rock up with a dirty yoga mat under my arm and was wearing a pressed shirt, but seriously, the food was just poor...and overpriced. Both of the dishes we ordered we completely bland, the service was quite indifferent, and our server had grime under her finger nails. Maybe it was life-giving soil from our Mother Earth, but her nails were still dirty. No thanks.

There's a restaurant in Berkeley called Cafe Gratitude. The ambiance, the service, and most importantly, the food were phenomenal. The food was so good, in fact, I was practically licking the plates. I couldn't get enough. After my meal, I felt glowy, healthy, and happy. I wondered if I couldn't eat a raw diet for the rest of my life. Flash forward a month or so to Euphoria Loves Rawvolution. It appears to be the only raw food cafe in Los Angeles and I had high hopes. When you walk in, it looks like a coffee house and it's not immediately apparent how everything works. My boyfriend and I looked at the menu and picked out some items. We waited for someone to help us. Finally, a girl approached, offered to help, said she had to wash her hands and never came back. Another girl finally showed up and took our order. She was new, so not very helpful in regards to ingredients. There aren't a lot of tables, so we sat on the couch next to three absolutely annoying surfer/hippie minstrels. At first, they were amusing because they were so horrible, but after a while, I started to get annoyed because all their songs sounded the same. Freedom and surfing. Our food arrived very quickly, which sort of bothered me. I ordered the BBQ Chicken, three miscellaneous salads, and a peach smoothie. In general, everything tasted a little old, like it had been sitting out all day. It was hard to eat and I wanted so badly to like it. Even the smoothie didn't taste fresh - like it was made with old peaches. The "BBQ chicken patty" was dry, tough, and bland. My boyfriend ordered a tomato basil soup and "crab cakes". The cakes were OK, but once again, dry and tough. The soup was tasty, but could have been smoother - like it needed a little more time in the blender. Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed. The prices were also a little high. I figure, they mark up the food to afford all the post-consumer cutlery and take-out containers. The whole thing seems slapped together. I give props for trying, but if you're yearning for excellent raw food, make a trip to Berkeley.

I came back here today when I had a craving for raw food (I know! How crazy! This place is THAT good!) and tried the eggless salad sandwich. While very tasty, this is a super messy sandwich and I would not recommend ordering it if you're eating with anyone you want to impress and/or not horrify. The friendly cashier (and they're all super nice here) recommended a side of the "stir no fry" salad which was delicious! A lovely lunch, even if the prices are scandalously high. I left full and happy, and it was a great way to spend the afternoon.

I don't have much experience with raw cuisine, but the enchilada dish I had there was AMAZING. I can't recommend RAWvolution highly enough. everyone I came into contact with there was very open and friendly. Like I said the food is fantastic, but the desserts even more wonderfully so. The night I was there, they had a great blues guitarist there, wonderful set. The items can be expensive, but definitely worth it! I'm definitely going back.

Good food. Good menu. However this was my first visit and wasn't happy with how they treated a particular situation. I ordered a side of RAW cream cheese to go. When bringing out my meal they put the side of cream cheese ON my plate. It was not explained to me, that what was on my plate was the cream cheese to go(I thought it was a side of dressing for the small salad). I threw it away not knowing and when I asked the server for the cream cheese to go, she said "I gave it to you". When I told her I threw it away she gave me a disgusting look and then the cold shoulder( I mean COME ON I just spent $50 on food and you are going to be short with me on a $2 side of cream cheese)! And for this I will probably not return. Too bad.

I visited Euphoria Loves RAW when I was down for the weekend. I had ordered their weekly box delivery once and was disappointed b/c it did not ship well to San Francisco. So I was looking forward to trying the food while it was fresh. The cafe is cute, but very bare bones. There were only 4 tables and you order at the counter. I brought a friend with me who was trying raw food for the first time. I was a little sorry that this was her first experience. Nothing was bad, but nothing was that great either. I guess I am spoiled by the places here in San Francisco. We each had the Thai soup which was good, but nothing special. It was served ice cold in a to-go plastic cup which made it slightly unappealing. We also shared the big Matt with cheese and the special mushroom swiss burger. We ordered apple bread and the cauliflower mashed potatoes as well. I am very happy to see another raw restaurant and wish Euphoria great success. However, the food just isn't anything to get excited about. and I am hoping that my friend does not judge raw food based on her meal here alone.

Quite nice and tasty for a raw food place. The usual strategy of raw food places to attract mostly non-raw food eaters. Popular and friendly dishes to help patrons survive raw food: nachos, zucchini pasta and more. Everything I tried was fresh and filling. Coconut water can be a bet. Some coconuts are in the fridge, ergo they taste amazing. Others are in the storage, and they will be warm and not as good.

I am a fan of raw and vegan food and am always looking for a good deal because it is so pricey. I bought a Groupon for 'The Box' meal weekly meal plan. I must say the portions were very generous but almost everything tasted too much of strong onion and was very salty. I really tried to like it, but I ended up throwing away over half of the food because I found it inedible. I would've been really upset if I had paid full price.

I would like to add an update that they separated the lounge furniture from the dining, and so I think this will help not seeing bare feet on the tables... if people want to wear bare feet so-be-it, at least it's in the lounge area (see the end of my earlier review below). I still love it here, I find the staff to be very friendly and I'm digging all of the rolls right now. Yum!

this place is sick. and it feels dirty. maybe because you can see into the dirty kitchen with the dirty hippies 'making' your food. or maybe it was the overwhelming smell of curry that filled the place on a really hot day. actually, i think it was the amount of flies swarming inside the restaurant that grossed me out the most. i went here with a friend and despite our gut feeling of turn-around-and-walk-out-the-door-before-ordering, we went ahead and chose a few concoctions off the menu. it was once we saw what they brought out to our table that we turned-around-and-walked-out-the-door-as-quickly-as-possible. how hard can it be to serve RAW food?? not much preparation should be needed. i was thinking big, fresh salads. lots of yummy greens, lots of fresh fruit. yeah, right. don't be fooled. just don't go here.

Not the best raw vegan food I've ever eaten (for that you'd have to come to my kitchen or go to Raw Soul in NYC). The desserts are good but the cakes are not made on site. Guacamole needs salt. Best thing here is the Cocophoria sandwich. Chlorophyll lemonade is pretty good, too. Just beware of Matt, the owner, whose humble attitude has given way to an icy conceit. It would also be nice if the menu switched up a bit more, too.

I'm not a granola, mantra-spewing, earthy-crunchy stereotype of who you would think would eat at a raw restaurant, but when you walk into Euphoria Loves Rawvolution, it's surprisingly anti whatever-stereotype you'd think. The menu offers up many raw variations on favorite meals I keep going for the egg salad but I'm tempted to try other things. If you are curious, they will let you sample things to see if you like it, which is something most store/restaurants would never do for a potential customer. Their food fills you up and leaves you satisfied, not to mention everything they use from cups to plates to silverware is biodegradable, so you're not trashing the planet like everywhere else you go. They have a tremendously helpful staff and lots of products to choose from should you have interest in eating raw food. Most importantly, they're always exceptionally friendly, even if you ask the most simple of questions. So while I'm likely to chow down a whole heaping pile of ribs and finish it off with a few pints, I'm also willing to take a walk on the raw side. KTLA just did a feature on them, and if KTLA likes it, and I like it, it's got to be good.

I'm not on a raw food or vegan diet or anything, but the concept has always interested me, and I admire the creativity that it takes to create full menus off raw foods. I've had various raw food places in Berkeley and Boston, but I've rarely been impressed. It's usually very expensive because of the ingredients, and I understand that it can be quite labor intensive. Rawvolution is an empty kind of space, with lanterns and interesting fans on the ceiling, wall art that is in a word "enlightening", local music playing. The tables made of wood remind me of a commune. There's a corner with raw/vegan products available like flax crackers, sauces, supplements, and even raw vegan ice cream (coconut, cashew stuff... $7.25 for 1/2 a pint...). Most of the items are really expensive, but I wouldn't know where else to look for them. The girls at the counter are knowledgeable, and they're friendly, seeming to "love" every item on the menu. They were nice enough to let me sample some sauces that I couldn't choose between. The menu offers greens, salads, desserts (including goji berry truffles), and more innovative dishes. The superfood soup looked cool, but I couldn't bring myself to pay $14 for soup, though it was a large pho-sized bowl. I went with the zucchini pasta, which is thinly sliced long shreds of zucchini, with the option of a walnut pesto or a sundried tomato sauce. I tried the pesto, but it was kind of tart and not as herb-y as I'd hoped. The sundried tomato sauce was refreshing and had some mushrooms in it. It was a bit oily and a little too salty, but overall, the flavor wasn't bad. The zucchini really does resemble pasta, but if you let it sit for too long, it gets really watery, as the salt from the sauce draws out water. It's definitely something you should eat right away. It was a pretty dense and filling portion for $10. I was skeptical at first, but I actually really enjoyed it. I'm not sure if I'll go back because it's a little out of the way, but for a raw food place, it's definitely one of the better ones I've had.

I think this place is under rated. In my opinion it's the best raw in Santa Monica. The cheese kelp pasta and lasagna are my favorites. The vibe is cool and relaxed and the deserts to die for. The only reason I don't give a 5 star is because the service is lacking a little love.

I was really excited to try raw food for the first time. Yes, a raw food virgin. Now I wish i still had my flower to give to someone else. =( The place is really cute, there was some live music and the decor is simple yet adorable. The food wasn't bad. Well the nachos were very good and so was the chocolate with mango inside. The special of the day was quiche, sorry, but no bueno. It doesn't matter what the name says its a mock version of, I'm not being biased, its just not good. It tasted sour and nowhere near fresh. Speaking of fresh. Everything started to smell...well... a little off. Please excuse this if you work at the restaurant, I'm sorry. B. freakin O. The smell of B.O. lingered in my nose for about 5 minutes every time our waiter passed us. (and we were even sitting outside with a breeze) I tried to hold my breath every time but here and there...wow. After that, I was so grossed out, everything started smelling like B.O. even the water =(. After 35 bucks (its a little costly for what it is) the bf didnt even flinch when i offered to pay. but with a sour face he did say "oh bc it was ur great idea?" Boo I would've even this place a 3 or maybe 4 but the smell and taste of B.O. is still haunting me.

I was there yesterday using groupon I bought, which entitles me to get 2 entrees and 2 drinks. First of all, I ordered an Italian pizza and then a veggie burger, with mango smoothie and chocolate maca shake. I asked no onion/garlic in my dishes and to substitute the burger bun with lettuce (only choice I got without garlic bread). After a while the mango smoothie came and we kind of enjoyed it, only that the the cup size was too small, consider its original value of $7. When the food came, the "Pizza" was nothing but a small piece of wheat bread topped with raw ingredients like olives, mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes, with salad on the side. Seriously the side of the bread was really small and cannot called an "entree." And my family did not like it at all. The taste and everything was just weird. My kids only ate the mushrooms and the left the rest on the plate. And both entrees came with onion. Then we told them to take out the onion and they came back with the burger still had onions in it. Then the side salad was way too sour even my husband as an adult didn't want a second bite. Then the veggie burger, wrapped in lettuce. However, the lettuce was so huge and made we ate really messy. The burger also came with the same side salad as the "pizza" so I basically had to eat it because no one wanted to. When we were done, I mean basically over half of the food was untouched, the chocolate maca was still not given to us. I told them to give to us in a to-go cup and I have to admit I don't like it at all, none of us do.

hands down the BEST nachos i've ever had in my entire life. being that i'm newly raw, i've had my fair share of "real" beef nachos and these are AMAZING!!!!!!!!! gf and i ordered the nachos and the big matt with cheese which was also delicious. had we not ordered the nachos we probably would have thought the burger was insanely delicious. but the NACHOS - can't get them out of my mind. I'll be back for sure. for the nachos. okay, enough about the nachos. this place is love. the setting is so calming. the menu is huge. all things served are living. the service was friendly and attentive but SLOW... that said, there was no rush to eat and get out. the server answered all my questions, provided excellent recommendations, refilled our water glasses and did all of this graciously. P's. if you are raw and are in need of a great cookbook i highly suggest their RAWvolution cookbook and RAW some! both are insightful books. they have tasty and easy to make recipes.

Good food. Great raw choices. And now even better service. I just wish they r more consistent with food. Sometimes I order dish I know and is different then last time. Not big deal though. Over all great raw joint.

yes, it is a bit expensive. and, yes, it does takes a while to not cook your food. but, it's delicious, healthy and as hippy/boho/annoying as the place gets, does have a good 'vibe'.

Ok so it was a Tuesday day and I was meeting a friend here to share some business possibilities. So I arrived early and ordered a salad no dressing, tomatoes cause I'm allergic :( also order Kombucha total bill with tip $20. So I get the salad which takes about 15 min to make? when I finally get it it's missing two ingredients avocado and olives so I send it back to be corrected. 10min later? It comes back again this time still no olives and I'm informed that there out. So no bigs it happens. So I'm eating the salad and notice little black seeds on the plate and on top of the salad? No mention of it on the menu? After further review I figure out there black sesame. Guess what? Yes I'm allergic to sesame:( it's not anaphylactic allergic but I get swollen gums and numbness. So I send it back and have my Benadryle ready just in case. Luckily no reaction :). Another 5 min pass until I get my 3rd salad corrected. And yes of course it comes with tomatoes :(. I just can't send it back again and ask for it to go and offer it to my hubby when I get home but when he opens it the salad has wilted:( Rating 1 star cause there organic and 1 star for waiter he was very nice. So do I go back and give them a second chance? $20 for a salad and a drink is a lot to pay for a disappointing first experience.

obsessed. yes i am a carnivore but when i'm not eating cheeseburgers or duck fat fries, i try to be healthy. i freakin' love their nori rolls. they are addicting. and the "holy macro bowl." yes, its expensive, yes they're slow and probably stoned out of their minds, but that's part of the experience! I want the californication roll every day.

I went there a couple of days ago for a quick snack. (I was referred by Bernadette at erewhon) and I have to say I was really impressed. Mainly because of the prices...you should know by now how cheap I am. I had a great lunch special for only $11.99 and it was SO filling and tasty. The best part was the chilled coconut with a straw in it for only $3.00! or 2 for $5.00! Awesome! The store was clean and organized. They have a large selection of raw food books, articles, and pamphlets. This a great little raw food oasis in Santa Monica...cheap, friendly, and clean...yay!

Having not had a lot of raw food experiences I found this to be interesting. It feels like a beachy coffee shop, and I love the laid back vibe. The flat, chewy bread they use made it a little hard to eat my "burger". It tasted good though, especially the spread they put on it. The lemonade was fresh and delicious. Intrigued me enough to come back.

I realise now that sometimes it's better to go eat someplace with low expectations and then be happily convinced otherwise by the food-from the mixed reviews of this place I figured there were some dishes that were hit or miss, and thankfully all the stuff we ordered was tasty. The place itself is a trip-the women who work there resemble seraphims and they sell these little medical bottles with some magical water encased inside, i guess you have to crack the vial open and drink its contents to add a couple more years to your life or whatever that stuff entails. We got the roll with the coconut jerky in it that they somehow made to taste like well-seasoned kombu-amazing! their bruschetta is pretty good but if you want a more refined version that's basically the same thing get the one at Cru, which has a chewier flaxbread. My bf's taco salad was also delicious, very meaty (somewhow) and a good sized bowl. I'm assuming we left the place with the same dazed, healthful glow as the rest of the clientele-but it's ok to drink the kool-aid if it's good for you and guarantees proper poos!

I got a veggie burger and shit was off the chain. Not silly like wrapped in a giant leaf of lettuce, but awesome bread. Like so much flavor in one bite. I don't know how they did it. Looks a bit odd, but the onion bread is totally worth it. Had a few other things and this place is definitely one for the adventurous. I agree with Jennifer; service was a bit slow. Like everyone was zenned out, high, or lacking some essential vitamin. The crowd seems a bit of a vegan scene, a gathering spot for those straight edged hipsters and yuppie biodiesel folk.

Eh. So, I should start by saying I don't really like raw food. I came here with a friend who wanted to try it, and I was happy, because I didn't feel like eating too much. The counter service was OK (although they forgot I'd asked for some water) and the mood was very calm inside, which is rare in Santa Monica/LA. I had the sloppy joe, which tasted like spicy bean & tomato on a moist cracker. For raw food, it was OK, but when I compare it to real food, it's horrible. Sorry, raw foodists. The "cookie dough," which I looked forward to, was inedible. I was expecting chocolate or carob with a typical chocolate chip cookie taste, but it tasted sorta like dried fruit paste, and that ruined it for me.

The worst of the raw food restaurants IMHO. I like raw food, I live close to ELR, and after many tries, I refuse to go back. THe food is either stinky and gross, or sometimes bland and the decent dishes are just so expensive and not good enough to justify the cost. Even the deserts just don't compare with other raw establishments. And to add to why I hate this place, the energy from the staff is not what you would expect from a supposedly enlightened hippie joint. From rude to indifferent and everything unpleasant in between. I really wanted to like this place but it doesn't come close to Planet Raw, Leaf, Good Mood Food, Au Lac or Taste of the Goddess (not sure if that place is still open).

It was just one of those days when I felt great, at well, wrote a kick ass article for an online publication, and pulled together a sexy outfit in under 2 minutes for my dinner date. On the way to my meeting in Santa Monica I though I really want a real chai latte and the way my day was going I knew it would happen. Sure enough I park with ten minutes to spare and walk a short three blocks to discover Euphoria Loves Rawvolution, a vegan cafe. And yes, of course they make a real chai tea (as opposed to the commonly used powder and syrup mixtures) with raw almond milk. Score! Thick and frothy with just the right kick of caffeine, my raw chai latte and I bopped down the road. This raw vegan cafe is partnered with Rawvolution, a raw vegan meal delivery service. I can't vouch for the food yet, but the beverages are simply scrumptious.

love love love the food at rawvolution. great atmosphere too. if i could afford it, i'd eat here all the time - but that's not really happening. if you're looking for a delicious meal that nourishes your body and mind, it's a great place, but it's a bit of a splurge for lunchtime.

BIG MATT WITH CHEEZE!! This place is so creative that they have managed to make a raw vegan burger taste like a cooked veggie burger on a bun! Maybe it's the pickles, I'm not sure but it is KILLER! Cute, spacious place too. I also tried the tomato basil soup and that was also fantastic. The lemonade was so-so, I'm not sure what was in it but it tasted kind of wierd...but not enough for me to take a star away. And I had the maca cookie dough balls...yummy! You can buy sage there too! Interesting people watching too. The guy next to me sat at a large table by himself, was there when I arrived and left, using his computer and talking on the phone. Then on my other side were two yogis. I went for a walk to get a copy of the LA Weekly and when I came back there was someone sitting on the other chair at my table...I guess waiting for her take out order. She was faced away from the table and all my stuff was there. The people that I see in that area of town never dwindle in causing me to say in my head..."WTF?" haha

I tried the Euphoria Platter which I would give a 5 Star. The Euphoria Platter is a sampling of their salads. Very refreshing! Only good for people who like veggies. The service is slow. You have to walk up to a counter to give your order. The clerk was slow with taking my order, walking to get me a couple glasses of water, and giving me change. Maybe it's just me as I'm used to things being a bit more fast paced in LA. Due to service, I would just give it a 4.

We absolutely love this place! The food is great- love the macro bowl with the faux-fu and sea veggies and great dressing. Love the superfood soup and the tiger roll... The staff are warm and helpful and I love people watching here and the relaxed vibe and the warmth of the people that come here. We drive far just to get here but it gives us a lift. Their chocolate is awesome too.

I love raw vegan, hippies, and yoga. I would like to give this place a higher rating but I think they need more QC (quality control) and taste what they are making more frequently. I think I had the 'burger' and don't remember what my friend got. The burger 'bun' was a dehydrated cracker and had a weird texture to it, like something that had been dehydrated but then moisture had sunk in and given it an unpleasant chewy texture. I've even made raw crackers before and mine were much tastier. My friend complained that the sauces were too salty, even for raw. I would go again because even in LA, there are not that many raw vegan places and they have an interesting menu/health drinks and products but was a little disappointed.

horrifying...wasted time and money. skip this place. i had the eggless sandwich, which was awful. it was a mix of curry and veggies on flat "bread". my friend had the jelly butter sandwich, awful as well. you can make a better p&j sandwich any day. stay away from this place, there are other raw food places much better than this. unfortunately this place gives the rawrevolution a bad name.

Sadly - I have about $26 to my name and I really wanted to eat here, knowing I would spend most of it. But, I usually find this place worth the price - it is so yummy - USUALLY. I ordered my favorite - nachos - and got it to go. USUALLY I can't finish the dish (see ALexandra E's review that it can be shared). BUT I didn't check inside the box before I left and found it to be about HALF its usual size when I got home. I was too hungry to go back and ask for more. Now I'm still hungry and don't have enough for more. I'd love to see some more consistency here - sometimes there is salad with the food, sometimes there isn't. This isn't the first time the size has changed either. If the owner or manager is reading, please try to fix this. Your food is too good...

Their desserts are AMAZING! Sometimes the slices of their cakes are a bit small it's okay because they are so good. It is clear that the people who own this restaurant really CARE about their customers and helping them be healthy. It's a sweet and gentle place. When I need to get a little TLC because I've been barraged by crazy, LA traffic and people, I go to Euphoria. In the evenings in particular it's a little slice of heaven.

most of the food is delicious. it's ALL really fresh and original. the durian shake is soooo good and healthy, but a bit too expensive. they could clean it up a bit and improve the pace of the service and improve a few of the dishes. it may just be perfect!!!!!

after buying matt amsden's uncook book, Rawvolution, i thought it'd be a good idea to eat at his cafe to see what the food i wanted to try to make was supposed to taste like. it was the most wasted $20 i ever spent! all it got me was one sloppy joe and a ultra-dense chocolate maca dessert that i couldnt even finish because it was just too thick and so unpleasantly chocolatey with a gritty texture that i dont think desserts are supposed to have. the sloppy joe was so sour for some reason and really squishy. the "famous" onion bread was a disappointment. actually, everything was a let-down. it was the worst raw food i've ever eaten and needless to say i dont intend on going back.

i am a vegan who has been insanely busy lately... i normally cook/prepare 90% of my meals during the week but found it really difficult to do so while moving to a new apartment and pet sitting... so, this week i ordered 'the box' from rawvolution.com . i had eaten at the cafe only once before and i really liked the 'big matt with cheese' and the 'no bean hummus' was really awesome too. i even took a food prep course with Matt Amsden which was really fun and helpful in learning the basics of raw food prep... anyway... i picked up the box in santa monica on monday night and it was really fast and easy. it contained the same sort of things they serve at the cafe... looking at some of it... some was really pretty and looked delicious... while other things i was not so sure about (like the soups). i have got to say that the marinated portabello sandwich was AMAZING! and the soups were really yummy and light for lunchtime along with the not tuna salad. if you are raw, or raw-curious, this is a great place to start. you will leave feeling satisfied and energized... and if you are ever looking for a food delivery service that will help keep your nutrition in check, this is a fantastic place!

I love the food here, too bad the staff always ruin my experience there, they are the most unhelpful and ridiculous employees ever, i waited 10 minutes with nobody ahead of me while two female employees (one was an older woman with dark hair worn up, the other was this blond girl with shoulder length hair) just ignored me right in front of me and i was just fed up and walked out, it had been 5 months since i last been there because i also had a bad experience with the blonde before there where i had bought food and a kombucha drink, and when i opened the kombucha it exploded all over my food, i had not shaken or done anything other than open the kombucha, and i hadn't gotten a chance to eat my food yet, and when i mentioned that my food had gotten kombucha on it and if they could re-wrapping the contents in a new nori wrapper that wasn't drenched in kombucha, and the girl said, no, they could not do anything for me, because it wasn't their fault that i spilled kombucha on my food. I don't understand why this place is such bad service, bad workers, bad vibe, not euphoric in the least and i'm done giving it a chance

I got a Groupon for this place... I love all types of different foods! And raw vegan is one of my favorites ... I am not a vegan by all meals BUT I enjoy it~! Our Groupon included two smoothies and two appetizers! My smoothie was strawberry with mango! (no sugar added) was pretty tasty~ My gf ordered the chocolate maca shake! if you are a chocolate fan this would be your drink! Then we got Nachos Grande and those was fantastic! Really really good~ then followed by Zucchini Pasta with Pesto sauce and creamy alfredo! My personal pick for next time would be both with creamy alfredo!!! And then!!! We decided to get amazing dessert~ I swear next time who needs food? Just go for dessert thats how good it was!!! I got a dessert names Immortal!!! Amazing!!! but I dont think they have it there all the time! and we also got a berry cheesecake! As well pretty yummy...

Okay so I recently tried the Cool Mint shake and gosh it's good ... Coconut water blended with the Coconut meat and mint leaves topped with agave. I opted out on the agave but it's your choice. Definitely not the most gourmet or upscale raw food in the world, or in Santa Monica for that matter, but some of ELR's menu items are quite tasty - the mushroom swiss burger, the cocophoria sandwich, the jalapeno poppers and some of the Asian noodle dishes. The salads, wraps, and pastas are a lot less creative and satisfying but still virtuous. Save room for a cookie dough ball. The dining area is small and it's tough to get a seat sometimes, but it's a pleasant spot to get an early dinner (think senior citizen dinner hours). I have to agree that the customer service can be slow and irritating if you aren't part of their clique, and the management seems to be focused on a lot of projects that don't include running a restaurant. And while the prices might seem high, raw food is very labor-intensive and relies on exotic and expensive ingredients. ELR has a way to go before it will supplant other places I like better, but I'm glad they're thriving.

I am a raw vegan and I'm always on the lookout for new restaurants. I tried their pancakes and they were phenomenally delicious. Plate presentation everything as far as the meal was awesome. I also got some raw sweets. The service though was something else. It was just me in the restaurant, another woman at another table and a man at his own table. After I was served my meal I wasn't checked up on and my drink had run out halfway through my meal. Meanwhile the server can be heard going ON AND ON AND ON talking to the male customer about her cleanse and how she's detoxing and blah blah blah blah. So I was sitting there with my plate clean you could tell I was done and I was waiting for her to bring me the rest of my order (the raw sweets I ordered previously) and I sat there for a while thinking since there's only 3 CUSTOMERS in the whole place that she would maybe come up for air and see if me or this other woman needed anything. But no. So tired of waiting I went back up up the counter, asked for the remainder of my order to-go and left no tip. It's a damn shame such a cool place with such a cool vibe has snooty people working there. People I think already feel us vegans are holier-than-thou and sadly this place reinforces that stereotype. I would eat here again but I'd recommend taking it to-go.

I don't understand why this place doesn't have a better rating. I guess it's target audience is limited, prices are not cheap, and expectations may get the better of most. Anyhow, such great, healthy, well thought out dishes are hard to come by. I aim to try every item on the menu. Well done Rawvolution.

First impression? Hippie-dippie over-priced glorified granola. Next impression? This is Santa Monica's version of San Francisco's Cafe Gratitude. Last impression? That coconut-meat is kind of weird. I'd rather just eat vegetables and tofu. Don't get me wrong, I can hang with creative vegi-fied food; however, Rawvolution's dishes just weren't integrated to me. Raw cuisine is a TRICKY art to master! Not to mention that desserts were exorbitantly expensive and weren't that good. Hopefully their juices outshine the food, so maybe I'll try again next time I'm in Santa Monica.

I stumbled into this place after a walk on the beach and I'm glad I did. I've been recently getting into juicing and they had a good selection of cold pressed juices. The food here - and really the whole experience - was just lovely! I don't get sold easily on "ideas" - the fact that a place is raw, or vegan or vegetarian is just about irrelevant if the food is not tasty and well-done. So, I have no problem docking off stars to places that are too expensive for what they serve up ! I don't have much tolerance anymore for places that are veggie but replace would-be meat with wheat-gluten or soy products. This place does it RIGHT! Just about everything here is made on-site and it is all so fresh. No fake products or fillers here. Below are details about what a friend and I had when we came in for dinner: Drinks (these are "Superfood Smoothies" - could easily be a breakfast): -The Chocolate Maca shake - Very thick and not too sweet - just perfect! -The Spirulina Warrior - To-die-for! Coconut meat, coconut water and spirulina are an amazing combo! Who knew? Starters: -Coconut Jerky with Cashew Mayo dipping sauce -very tasty but personally wasn't big into the texture. My friend loved it, however! And the sauce you will want to keep around to add to everything throughout your meal! -Cucumber Watercress soup - I had dreamed of the day I could get a cucumber soup like this outside my home! So fresh, so creamy and a little spicy due to the watercress and garlic. Entrees: - Mole Nori Tacos - A perfect 10 of flavor AND really does resemble both the complexity of taste and texture of mole tacos! - Indonesian Noodle Affair - a nice crunch to this mild yet flavorful dish and the little salad that comes with it just tasted crisper than any i've had as a side. Dessert - Spirulina Cheesecake - this is something they happened to have that day and am not sure what it's official name is. I wasn't a big fan but then again it wasn't my decision to order it as I'm not a big fan of any kind of cheesecake. They had many other desserts that looked great too. We felt so energized afterwards! I guess that is what happens when every bit of food you eat is packed with goodness. As for what compelled me to write a review right now, about three weeks since this visit...a craving for more! I just can't get those Mole Nori Tacos out of my mind!

I love this restaurant very cosy vibe and vegan dishes taste really good one of the best I've tried, even my mom who doesn't like the taste of vegan food liked their salad and told me it tastes yummy, so it should be really good! I love their parfait with vegan yogurt.

I love the breakfasts here. The tangy coconut yogurt is so creamy and smooth and not too sweet. It's filled with healthy live probiotics. I love it with the buckwheat granola. The raw banana bread is rich in fiber and very hearty. The smoothies are just awesome. I had some sort of banana coconut smoothie once and it was fantastic. I also love their Maca shake and green spirulina shake. I think it's a great place for breakfast for sure. Also the management is very professional and I appreciate that the times I had an issue with them they went out of their way to make it right. I respect that integrity. Anyways, I recommend coming here for breakfast before your morning bike ride by the beach. waca waca : )

Went on a tandem bike ride with my lover and we stopped here for lunch. We are vegetarian, trying to go vegan... but raw is a whole different animal, I mean vegetable. We aren't too well versed on the subject, so we asked the lovely waitress for her advice on what we should get. We decided on the cheese stuffed jalapeños for our appetizer (these were dehydrated, and not my favorite). Then our main courses were the Nachos Grande and the Burrito Supreme, both of which came with their delicious walnut taco meat, and finally a coconut ball for dessert. The food was yummy, the ambiance was chill and I enjoyed the decor. They carry some candles and shirts as well as some other food products. All their desserts looked delicious.

Yum. Just loved the Tiger Roll and the Cocophoria sandwich. We also got nachos as an app but it was heavier than I thought and wanted to leave room for the main dishes which were split by me and my sweetie. Staff was friendly, and the service was prompt and caring. The roll had a curry coconut wrapper and a delicious dipping sauce, with a strong coriander flavor. There was some dill seasoned cukes on the plate to cut and balance flavors. The sandwich was made with the classic raw onion bread - much drier than when we make the recipe at home and surprisingly held well while biting into the sandwich. The coconut was so good and had the consistency of calamari, I liked it. Can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu. Ok - updating! Went back to ELR on my way out of town and ordered a whole day's worth of food. Had the chocolate strawberry parfait in the car while driving to Santa Barbara. It was the perfect blend of coconut meat, cacao, and sweetness; with a top layer blended with strawberry. They also had mango ones, which I am sure would have also been stellar. I also ordered their 2 green + 1 creamy salad option for lunch. I can't remember the names of the items I picked but everything was really good, seasoned well and fulfilling. I also came to ELR in the early morning to get a juice at their window - what a great offering! Thanks Euphoria Loves Rawvolution, can't wait for my next trip to Santa Monica.

I like their food! I haven't tried everything but i go for the Big Matt sandwich and it's delicious! Fresh and Filllng. They have good drinks also. Parking is across the street and you have to make sure to have change and a 2 hr. limit so you can't stay long. it's a cool place to go so try it!

Went here today, and I have to say it was just okay. The food was good, but you definitely don't get enough for your money. My $13 entree didn't even fill me up. Combined with the slow service, I was quite disappointed.

Kinda bummed. Came in here on a Groupon deal, never seen it or been here before. Only tried Raw a few times. Good news is, the food was delicious. Bad news is, I can't wait half an hour+ for one meal that doesn't even require cooking. Especially at 3pm when the place is almost empty. I had to take my meal to go to get back to work. Service was unimpressive. Promoting your business via Groupon is expensive. If you're going to capture customers this way, especially new ones, make sure you have the service in place to keep them coming back. Otherwise, you're wasting your money.

On our raw food tour of LA we were super happy to fall into RAWvolution. TRY the breakfast burritos (OMG!) and the cinnamon rolls are a must!! The reason I give it 4/5 is because not all of the dishes we tried were great... some a little bland. But def 100% recommended!!

  • Brendan B.

Went there today and ordered the breakfast burrito, it was unique and tasty! Had to send compliments to the chef- even the two strangers next to me were talking about how good the food was. Cafe is bigger than it looks from the outside. 10 bucks for a super healthy burrito and the portion size was decent, definitely going back!

How is this place even still open? Does everyone who comes here sacrifice their taste buds to the Vegan gods? Whoever designed the menu is a joke. No real experience shines through here. A typical over priced, below average tasting menu that we had to send back two items due to just bland and disgusting combinations. I was shocked to find these outrageous prices attached to such garbage meals. I expected for these prices to receive quality of at least Planet Raw. As if all this was not already the perfect storm for a soon to be closed business, can add weasely business tactics to their list. We were suppose to have all the items sent back taken off. They took off one and charged us for the others after we tried to be kind and order their only decent tasting item which was dessert, but when priced to likes of Cafe Gratitude this tasted like dirt and a little cacao nibs thrown together. Congrats I give you 6 months tops.

Feeling like a mermaid? I know I often am. On a warm winter's day in LA, I love me some replenishing seaside action. A few blocks away from the beach on Main Street in Santa Monica (same block as Urth), I stop in for a little superfood soup (avocado, seaweed, cucumber yums) and coconut jerky on the side. Don't forget to ask for the spicy "mayo" dipping sauce. You can never go wrong with the Tiger Roll either (which has coconut jerky as well- I like the chewy spicy factor). This spot is also THE spot for a sweet tooth- little cookie dough balls of raw vegan ridiculosity are available for you to try. Who needs a kit kat bar when you've got Rawvolution?

One of the few AMAZING raw restaurants in LA. These are really hard to find. The things they with food here are amazing. The nachos are the best! They have my favorite juices and smoothies too. The people are always friendly and I never am disappointed.

I've been eating out way too much recently, and my bowels were in desperate need of a reset button. I was actually considering getting a colonic, but decided to try a more moderate approach first; stuff my intestines with fiber. Raw fiber. I'd been on a raw food diet for years, so raw food is nothing new to me. Newbies to the raw scene should be aware that enjoying a raw food meal requires a paradigm shift of the taste buds. If you go to a raw restaurant expecting something that tastes exactly like "pasta", a "burrito", "cheese", "pizza", or "nachos", you're setting yourself up for disappointment In my opinion, Euphoria loves Rawvolution has the best raw food on the west side. I love the atmosphere and the generous portions they give. I also appreciate the relatively light hand they use on the salt. For two people, we ordered: -Young Coconut: You drink the water inside and then eat the deliciously sweet, soft meat with a spoon. -Hot chocolate: I had to laugh when I sipped this because it was served luke warm. No DUH. If it were any hotter, it would be considered cooked! -Zucchini pasta with marinara sauce and mushrooms: Wow, the flavor in this dish blew me away, and the portion size was generous. -Green Dragon Roll: Isch don't think so! Just a bunch of green veggies wrapped in nori. It was $8, and not worth the price IMO. I make my own version of this at home and it's cheaper and tastier. -Desserts: Almond chocolate (like a Reeses pieces), Mint Chocolate, and Coconut Ball. All were excellent, and guilt free. I love raw food desserts!!! It's only been a couple of days since I ate here, and I'm already craving more of it. I'm kicking myself for taking so long to try this place, but now that I have, I'll be back again and again. My bowels have thanked me already. *See pics*

Yes, I'm a fan. I love their creative drink selection and the chill environment. I think that it's pretty pricey for some of the simple dishes they have, so I don't go that often, but it's good and fresh.

Hi there! This is a 5 star for Katie, the Cashier/ Waitress on Monday nights. I hope she is there when I pop in to eat. She is amazing. I saw her handle the line of people waiting to be serviced, the phone ringing off the hook, like she had 8 hands. She kept up her genuine, perky smile the whole time. Not once, did I feel neglected (waiting for my food), even while she was helping others. Let's hope, ELR has the sense to know that she is a great worker & compensate her appropriately as she has the capacity to keep customers happy with great service. The 3 star rating for the food, is still the same for me.

My friends were in town from London for a few days, and one of them had adopted a new diet. I took them to Euphoria because they were staying in the neighborhood and I'd been meaning to try it for a long time. We were not disappointed! Holy $h*t! You might think the portion sizes are small, or maybe you might think you're overpaying for uncooked food, but they fill you up. I'm making it a point to bring people here as much as possible. I can overlook the cheesy name - it's totally worth it. They know flavor. They don't mess around here.

After I left my previous review the owner wrote me a message letting me know that he was looking into the service issue I had and that he will do everything to make sure I have a good experience next time. That to me is great customer service and completely makes up for an off day (hey mistakes happen!). I do love the food here and have no doubt that my next experience will be fantastic!

I was on the 20 day DHealth Store RAW Full Body Cleanse & so I was literally trying EVERY RAW RESTAURANT in LOS ANGELES to avoid going absolutely apeshit over eating 1000 different variations of salad. RAWvolution had the widest & BEST SELECTION of RAW FOODS. Everything was pretty tasty & Dynamic : Nachos were DELISH, Sushi rolls were great, & the desserts actually taste like desserts (not dirt & sugar) lol OH last but certainly NOT least - THE STAFF. . they were so friendly & helpful. I can see why there's a great energy to this place. Thank You RAWvolution for saving this Southern girl's taste palette !

As restaurants go, this one is the real deal, now you won't get million dollar decor, etc. but what you do get is someone who's been in the rawfood business for so long, he deserves a small bow!! I LOVE the nachos!!! I LOVE the cinnamon rolls (yes they're raw and amazing!) Just lower your expectations on decor and know that you're walking into one of the last great original rawfood restaurants! :)

I was looking for a place to go and get a smoothie after a morning at the beach and yelp brought me to this place. Which was a huge disappointment to say the least. My friend and I walked in, first impression: cute decor and friendly looking people. A blonde woman with an Australian accent seemed super nice and welcoming until my friend didn't leave a tip for being our cashier. CASHIER. She gave my friend a dirty look and her demeanor instantly changed. The woman who gave us our smoothies( brown hair, didn't get her name), seemed very nice. I would've left her a tip if I wasn't already upset and offended. The smoothies were mediocre and lukewarm. Not worth the price at all.

Went here this weekend and had the best experience in a long time! We were going to go to Urth Cafe but if was crowded which was a blessing. We found Rawvolution down the street. Our lunch started with pesto tomato sliders for an appetizer which was great. For entrees we had the Big Matt, California Crunch and Nachos Grande. Our whole table was blown away the food was absolutely perfect!! The only thing better then the food was the service from our waitress. Danielle who I had never met before was the most warming loving soul. Our day was made from the great good and service!! WE WILL BE BACK AS REGULARS!

Good atmosphere, cool servers, after I sat down it took about 15min for the waiter to come over. Ordered the cocophoria burger, which was quickly served prob bc it's a raw restaurant. The side salad house dressing was tasty. The burger was fine, a little to much cashew dressing on it for me and the thick pieces of semi dehydrated coconut really gave my jaw a work out when it wasn't popping and cracking. Now I know for next time to bring a portable food processes with me for the coconut strips.

This place is soo amazing. The food is, I believe, ALL ORGANIC. It is soo hard to find places to eat where they serve organic food. And I'm trying to be really a fanatic about not eating any food that isn't organic. Even getting to the point of only buying vitamins that are non-GMO. Just so you realize how lucky you are, I recently moved, and there are NO restaurants around here where the food is organic. I did find this place Lyfe Kitchen, the coffee is organic and they've got a grass-fed burger on the menu. Other than that, I've got Chipotle and Panera Bread, where the meat they use is antibiotic and hormone-free. Besides these places (I guess you could consider Carl's Jr., with their all-natural hamburger, but would you eat their French fries cooked in that rancid partially-hydrogenated vegetable oil) I've got Cheesecake Factory, places like that. The food tastes good, but it's got pesticides, GMO's, the meat is cheap grain-fed, and given antibiotics and hormones. They do this because buying quality ingredients costs more, and they don't need to, because most people don't care. So I just think this is a great place and people should support this business.

So far, so good. I'm not a vegetarian but I think their Taco salad without meat tastes great. Nuts and spices all blended together as a nice substitute, mixed in with avocado and sour cream, you barely miss the meat. The key lime pie is also good for those of us that like tart more than sweet. Will be back to try more on their menu.

Wow! This place does not dissapoint! This was hands down our favorite restaurant we visited while in California! The portions were huge and the flavors were so much different than your average raw vegan restaurant! I am in love with their Red Enchilada ancho chilli wrap!! Yum! The vegan egg salad was scrumptious! Their rolls were delish! We even had room for dessert after all of that! Definitely treat yourself to this place if you are nearby! I woke up the next day feeling amazing and still had a flat tummy after totally pigging out at Rawvolution! So amazing!!!

This place changed my life two years ago. Since then I'm raw and very happy about it. Food is very very good but... I never feel comfortable. For example: there is a sign on the sweets "free sampling available - just ask". So I asked. Ok, I got the sample but the waitress was a bit like: 'What is going on here?' I don't know how to describe but people here give you the feeling they're cooler than you.

After reading many, the only people who don't give a high rating to this nearly perfect raw food restaurant are people who don't get it or got stuck in a passing moment in time. Day after day this restaurant proves itself. Yeah, it has moments but how can you hold a decade old restaurant responsible for someone who was hired and fired over a weeks trial. If you appreciate raw food or even simply health food, you will be happy. The taco salad, the breakfast burrito, the California crunch roll, all perfect. Spirulina warrior protein smoothie and the warm Krishna Chinese herb coffee like drink, oh, yeah.

  • Nada N.

First off I wanna say that the staff was very friendly and attentive... now on to the food... I usually don't eat at these types of places, (but was invited by a friend) so I wasn't sure what to order. The menu selection was mysterious to me so I ended up ordering the burger, since it had a name that was recognizable to me. The "bread" was a crumbly cracker that didn't last through the first bite. The whole thing turned to dust as soon my teeth pressed into it. I'm not sure how anyone eats one of these burgers without making a huge mess.. Also, the bread was made of onions and the burger also came with fresh onions. The whole thing was extremely oniony.. even with the onions removed, it was just way too oniony for me. Overall, the burger was ok, but I don't think it was cooked all the way through. I didn't get sick, so that's a plus! We also ordered some curried coconut thingies.. I don't eat a lot of fried foods, but these were definitely super tasty! Now when it came time to pay, my initial thought was that the price of the food far outweighed the actual cost of it... but considering the trendy location, I imagine the restaurant probably doesn't have much money left over after paying the rent. So with that taken into consideration, the price is good. Would I eat there again?... probably not. But that's just because of my personal finances. If I was rich and could afford to pay someone to not cook my food, I might eat there all the time.

Had better vegan, raw. Similar to real food daily, but not as good. Blah, but the mixed greens w dressing was good. Sounds like maybe I got the wrong stuff. Seems from other reviews the pastries were the way to go which I didn't try

  • Rae Ann D.

The greens are amazing! I had the choose 2greens and 1 creamy. I went for the kale, schewzan veggies and the hummus! The hummus doesn't come with any chips or pita, obviously, but you don't even need it cuz it acts as a sauce and it works perfect! Best lunch for the price! I feel good for eating and I don't regret anything here!

I got up 3 times from my table, the first time because nobody was taking my order, the second time to get the juice and the third time to get the dessert. Not even once the waitress ask if evrything was ok.I spend $38 in a meal, juice and one dessert and left with a stomach pain.I order the BIG MATT but the mustard gave a horrible stomach pain.Way overprice. Even after all of bad customer service they expect a tip.DONT RECOMMEND IT. I AGREE WITH OTHERS CUSTOMERS ,THE PLACE IS A DUMP..

Had my 5th or 6th lunch at Rawvolution today and just had to pump their tires on yelp. The superfoods salad is my favourite salad in LA period.! Great soups and sandwiches, excellent juices and smoothies and friendly staff. Rawvolution is a cozy spot with plenty of soft seating; formal tables or comfy couches, their is even a great little patio. One of the few restaurants you can go to where you feel energized and ready to take on the rest of the day.

$10 for a slice of cake that was called the double chocolate?!?!?! I don't get it! I'm a vegan and I really don't get how they could charge the same amount for a piece of cake? I had the Matt& Cheese, which was delicious but still... How do you charge $ 10 for one slice of cake? It's a rip off, seriously. All other vegan restaurants I've been to have been affordable. If you are going to charge the same amount for a piece of cake as your main courses, at least have the price tag next to your display. ... The cake was not my my style. It didn't taste anything like a double chocolate cake :( ... It had ginger and our nutmeg in it with cumin I think. It was not chocolaty AT ALL. It was not a bad cake, it just wasn't a double chocolate cake-the bands was misleading. The staff was either understaffed or they just weren't good at managing their few tables. We had to wait for a very long time. My burger wasn't a burger, but still delicious. All together, I'm just upset they don't bother displaying that their cakes cost more than cakes usually cost. Their staff needs to be quicker though as well as be better at explaining the food. I'll give it one more try.

I am not a vegan and I could care less about the eating clean, raw, etc whatever way of life. I believe in the phrase everything in moderation. Also, if I get hit by a bus I would rather die having had fried chicken or something delicious than kale. I decided to try this place for lunch the other day. It was $ 27 including the 3 dollar tip and 'sustain charge' whatever the hell that means. I got the sweet burn (a zesty juice with pineapple, cucumber, lemon, and ginger). I liked it and it did indeed burn a bit due to the ginger. For lunch I got the Holy Macro Bowl: kale, baby greens, hijiki, nofu, red pepper tahini dressing. I like kale but I still felt hungry after eating this salad. I also don't like how hijiki looks. And the red pepper tahini dressing could have had more flavor. Zdenka was very knowledgeable and distractingly attractive. It's a very zen place it's just not for me. If you're a vegan then this is your spot.

I love this place, the food is AMAZING! But sadly, the servers (or most of them) are rude, snobby, don't listen, and are very unprofessional. Esther is an amazing server, I usually go when she is there since every other occasion that i have been here and she was not my server, ive been very disapointed. I think this place is losing its cool chill peaceful vibe and its going down a very pretentious road. I will no longer be eating here which makes me sad because the cooks do an excellent job! But the service and the atmosphere are just disappointing. :(

We just had the most horrible experience in Euphoria Loves?? Rawvolution. Didn't feel the "Love" or "Euphoria" part AT ALL.. We haven't been here in about a year and a half, but had a decent time there last time, I even left a 5-star review. We went there yesterday and today... Yesterday's visit was not too bad after they turned down the bass on the stereo.... Groovy music is cool with me, but when they jack up the bass (without understanding the consequences of that disruptive vibration on human (and plants and animal) psyche and nervous system), it's just dumb. Not everybody is deaf and numb to loud sounds. Especially vegans and raw vegans who care about the vibrations they put in the body. There is already enough noise in LA, no need to drive customers insane even more by meaningless loud bass that goes through our bones... There is neither euphoria nor love in that.... Then we enjoyed Nachos Grande which was pretty good. And then I went to the bathroom, and I was like eww, gross! Don't they have 20 dollars (or less) to replace the old toilet seat??? It looks like they haven't replaced it in years, which is really lame for any business, especially a wannabe trendy café in Santa Monica near the beach. We came back today again to hang out; there were some douchebags standing around in the middle talking really really loud about some negative stuff, which created a terrible atmosphere. More to the point, all the prices on desserts were turned BACKWARDS impossible for customers to see. WHAT THE HECK? So I asked some blonde dude who works there and is not kind and humble at all, and he vaguely waived away at the desserts saying that these prices are incorrect, and quickly saying all the prices which was not clear at all which one is which, and I'm only occasionally a genius with a photographic memory, and WHY DON'T THEY PUT PRICES ON THOSE THINGS?? And what the heck is "these prices are incorrect anyway"? Then what's the point?!!? Don't waste my time, man. The only price tag that was at an angle still slightly visible said "$3 for $6" and WHAT the heck does $3 for $6 mean? Did they mean 3 for $6? Get organized already! So we felt extremely unwelcome, and like the place had a horrible service, and the bass was blasting my brains out again BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM... stupidity beyond measure, not suitable for a place called "Euphoria Loves Rawvolution". Like someone said in a previous review: "...Sadly, the servers (or most of them) are rude, snobby, don't listen, and are very unprofessional. I think this place is losing its cool chill peaceful vibe and its going down a very pretentious road." -- that's how I feel too! Hard to believe they are not out of business. Yet, perhaps. Well, we drove for a few minutes to another vegan place, bought $25 worth of tea and desserts, and are enjoying it VERY much at the moment. Might never come back to ELR, maybe many months from now when the staff changes, and they buy a toilet seat.... *shaking my head*... This kind of nonsense gives bad rep to vegan businesses.... Get it together please. You do have so much potential. Get staff that CARES about ELR and people/customers.

This restaurant has so much potential, but it ultimately was disappointing. RAWvolution's food was pretty darn good for the most part, but the service was really poor. We almost left the restaurant. When we entered the restaurant the hostess said she'd be right with us and gestured over towards a table. So we assumed we would seat ourselves and she'd bring a menu over. Fifteen minutes later we hadn't heard from anyone, received a water, or received a menu. I could tell the wait staff were dealing with a computer problem, so I got up, grabbed the menus myself, found a water dispenser and filled two cups, then returned to my seat. Another 15 minutes passed and we still didn't get any service. It seemed like people were ordering at the front counter, which I initially thought was for takeout, but it seemed like you had to place your order at the front and then they'd serve you later. So I spoke with the hostess who said she'd come to our table. Very confusing. We ordered a lot of food because we wanted to try so much! We ordered two appetizers--the coconut jerky and the pad thai--and one entree--an enchilada with mango salsa and cashew sour cream. The coconut jerky was inventive and spiced well. For the price, the coconut jerky was very small, but we enjoyed trying something new. The pad thai was supposed to be an appetizer but they gave us the entree size and charged us accordingly. That was annoying. The pad thai was made of kelp noodles which was a fun experience, but the sauce did not resemble tamarind pad thai flavor at all. The enchiladas were the best dish pairing sweet and savory, creamy and crunchy. We also ordered a mango cheesecake. My partner, who is an avid meat eater, usually loves vegan raw desserts; for him it's the best, and most reliably yummy part of eating out at a raw restaurant. This cheesecake had a somewhat lumpy consistency and the flavor was all wrong. We expected the cheesecake to taste coconutty and fruity--like most raw vegan cheesecakes. But instead it tasted bizarre, perhaps like plain cashew...only plain cashew. The cheesecake was a weird grey color. The only mango flavor came from the sliver of mango placed on top. I would not order this dessert again.

The Nachos are really good. I feel fresh after eating an entire meal. Would recommend and would eat here again.

First and foremost excellent service from our server, Bronwyn. The food was absolutely delicious. Try the breakfast burrito and do not leave without having the Spirulina pie..despite the scary name and green color, the best tasting dessert I've had in awhile. Will definitely be back!

The people were great as far as service went but they just took a really long time to get us our food. I mean they aren't cooking anything and there were barely any people in the restaurant. Also, I ended up spending way more than I wanted to. Probably won't be back here. Disclosure: This is coming from some who is not vegan or vegetarian so it could be that I'm not used to this kind of food.

I hate to write a bad review, but I think for intrepid diners it's good to hear when something a little bit more experimental, tastes, well, experimental:) I remember going here in the past and trying some of the drinks and dishes and being into it. Today I had the chips and bacon burger. How can I describe the "onion bread" ? Chewy, kind of stale tasting, not so flavorful rectangles sandwiching in a strange concoction of mayonnaisy onion, tomato, coconut jerky and lettuce. I usually love raw/vegan food, but this missed the mark. The flavors did not blend well together at all. Bummer:( I also ordered the "decadent hot chocolate". Be forewarned: this was anything but decadent. It was a pretty small, not very rich or delectable cacaoish drink for $7. I'm sorry, RAWvolution, but something has changed with time. I was disappointed with what I ordered today. I will say, though, that the server was excellent! He was really attentive and thoughtful, and made an extra effort to be sure that each of the customers he was attending to felt taken care of. The spot is very cute and bright... just far too expensive for an experiment in dining.

Updated.... FANTASTIC Food and people. . The server Julie is the best! She recommended some of her favorite dishes. And they were healthy and very yummy. She definitely was very quick with my order...friendly...and very...on the ball. I had a ceasar salad...and 2 cups of fresh Coconut Chai tea. One day. Came back again but was surprised with nachos that made your mouth water. And fresh watermelon mint juice. Very cool artwork everywhere. Vegan food here has set a new standard for Excellence! Great Job!

Almost exactly 1 year after first trying this place we went back tonight. It was a good as we remembered. We had the nachos as an appetizer again, and it was as good as we remembered. The walnut taco meat is so good and it actually does taste like Mexican food. I had the zuccini pasta 3 ways again, same as last time, because I remembered it so well. It was light and delicious. At my table we also had the Thai curry soup, which is served cold but it was so complex in flavor it was really really good. Another interesting try was the kelp noodles, I think it was called Indonesian noodles. The sauce was really good. Finally, the tiger roll. I didn't try it but it got a good reaction. We also had the chocolate cake. I love vegan deserts but I don't love the nut crusts that a lot of the pies have. This was exactly that- the nut crust which I didn't like. but a silky, velvety chocolate cake which we all loved. As a side note, both times we went we were the only group and the only family there. it is more of a quiet tuck yourself into the corner date place.

BEST RAW FOOD EVER!! also - the vibe is just so good in there - it literally FEELS GOOD to just walk in the door . LOVE LOVE LOVE the music, the lighting, the fresh smell of herbs, and the warm smiles from all the staff. The raw chili is one of my faves... give it a try!

You will feel like a superhero. I ordered the superfood salad- nori, kale, avocado and flax oil SO good. But if you want to be super super hero, then order enlightenment salad because it has all of the above plus hemp seeds, sauerkraut, tabouli and olives and happiness is key to acquiring super powers. And if you want to see what super hero heaven is like (that's where all the super heroes go to relax after saving the world), try the cinnamon roll. It's huge, so I'd advise sharing with someone you love. And I must warn, after the cinnamony delight you will not want to get back to the real world, but you must. They need you out there.

Stopped in on a Saturday for an early lunch. I'd been to Juliano's Raw several times over the past few years, and whilst I like their food, I had seen Juliano Brotman (the owner) behave very disrespectfully towards his customers and staff, and a recent response he made to a negative review on this site was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back for me - the man is a narcissistic, sexist twat and I will not give him anymore of my business. I believe in God and Jesus - raw foodism is not my religion, but I do enjoy the cuisine every once in a while. I stopped in at Rawvolution and ordered the raw enchilada, which was a tomato-based "tortilla" stuffed with raw collards, tomatoes and guacamole and topped with a faux cheese which tasted a lot like tahini. It was accompanied by pico de gallo, more guacamole and flax chips. Delicious. The coconut water was the perfect accompaniment, and flavouring the tap water with mint is a nice touch. I ordered a raw key lime bar to go for dessert and it had a good flavour but was a bit too oily for my liking (I'm guessing the filling is coconut oil-based). The cuisine is expensive and portions can be small, but as I've said in other reviews of raw food restaurants, preparing this sort of cuisine is expensive and the restaurant has no choice but to pass it along to the customer. The service was friendly and the staff were very good about explaining raw cuisine to other customers who weren't familiar with it, but quite slow, and some employees seemed more concerned with chatting with each other than doing their jobs. Wasn't a problem on a Saturday, but I think the service is a bit too slow to make Rawvolution an appropriate weekday lunch spot. I would gladly try them again for dinner, or brunch/lunch on the weekends.

Food is horrible and so way overpriced. My friend ordered a salad ( for 14$) that had one tiny slice of avocado and two tiny slices of tomatoes plus greens of course . They I guess not that generous lol seriously it's a vegan place and you already charge so much for salad and can't even provide normal amount of ingredients ( vegetables can't be that expensive, right ?). I ordered absolutely disgusting Thai curry soup ( cold ). Pls for your own safety never order this item. And also they charge 4-5$ for small pieces of crackers or onion bread that is already impossible to eat .

Eh. Have been here twice now, once to eat in and once for takeout. For takeout, we ordered online in advance. The ordering site is TERRIBLE on a mobile device- doesn't let you see the description of the item as you're ordering it, so make sure to have a tab open with the menu. Oh, actually, don't- because the menu as listed on the site actually contains different items than the ordering site does. And you can't order online without registering for this other site, putting in all your info, etc. Lame and time-consuming. Very expensive. $40 got us two items, a side of chips, and one drink. The chips are 4 chips in a bag. Yes, 4. Someone else in our party got a side of apple bread... it's about a 5-inch piece of cracker that's basically fruit leather. And expensive. We couldn't tell which food was supposed to be what. We assumed the burger was the thing with pieces of sesame crackers above and below it and that the pizza was the thing with only one of those. The nachos and burrito, however, were indistinguishable (which is weird because a guy sitting at one of the tables had a burrito that looked like a regular burrito). I understand that raw food isn't the same as cooked food, but if it's going to be just a big mess, at least label the boxes. And the service. We showed up and the place was almost empty (3 customers). We walked up to the counter and I smiled at a woman standing behind it. She looked at me , then turned away. I kept standing there and smiling at her, and she repeated this process of looking away several times. Eventually, I said, "Excuse me, we placed online orders and just wanted to make sure they came through". She brusquely replied, "I'm sure they did". I asked if she could check and she snapped, "They'll check in a minute". Eventually, she did go and check herself, but clearly either didn't work there or didn't want to be bothered. She didn't look busy. Whatever. Another woman came out and asked us if we'd like to sit down. A man came and offered us samples of a new hot chocolate drink while we waited, and it was delicious! We probably would have ordered some if we hadn't spent so much money on the food. The food came out quickly and we appreciated its being packaged in biodegradable materials. Some people in our party were left hungry by the small portions and we had to go elsewhere for food later. Not worth the price.

If I had to use one word to sum up this review and restaurant, it would be overpriced. There are plenty of options for raw, organic, and vegan in the area that are more reasonable in terms of cost. I can get a fresh organic juice right across the street that won't cost be $10 a bottle. The ambiance is really relaxed, but only go if you are okay with incense. The people are friendly. And the food tastes good, just not good enough to pay for it at the prices listed.

This was my first time at this place. I am pretty new to raw foods and am not very comfortable when it comes to ordering the food. I also am still looking for something with a rich taste as well as filling. Our waitress was very helpful and totally got what I wanted! I had the nachos and they were absolutely amazing! I'm already in love with this place! Thanks for a great first experience! Will come back!

This review is for the drinks ONLY Okay, maybe it's because I'm not vegan, but I ordered two drinks here and literally threw them away after one sip. Came here after Urth, ordered a green smoothie and some supposed chocolate flavored smoothie. The green smoothie wasn't bad, I make them at home and it tasted very similar to the homemad one. The "chocolate" one smelled like sewage, I am NOT exaggerating. It was disgusting. You know when you park over a manhole and your car is left smelling like ass? Well that's how my car smelled. Okay, fine, I'm not vegan, I have a taste for non super healthy food so maybe I'm biased. But at $10 a drink, this place is BEYOND over charged. The ingredients to make the green smoothie definitely don't come close to $10... Anyway, you couldn't pay me to order another drink. BUT I will give this place an extra star because the woman working there was very nice and the food looks appealing.

Great healthy raw vegan food, great customer service- kayden is awesome ! The nachos are a favourite of mine from here. Highly recommended, acquired taste for some meals though, but definitely something to experience. No need to be afraid of food filled with life and health :)

The first time I came here, I wasn't completely accustomed to eating raw vegan food so I had no idea how to order. This last time, we ordered a bunch of great things and I loved everything! We got the red enchilada, a Mexican style salad, spring rolls and nachos. Everything was outstanding! I couldn't finish my red enchilada so I took it home in case and the next day it was just as amazing! The waitress was sweet, and the atmosphere was great. We sat at a table with a lot of sun shining through the window, which to me is important. I love lots of light! I can't wait to go back!

The height of health and also delicious. The superfood soup and tabouli are excellent, as are their many herbal shots and teas and coffees. All raw vegan and organic. I highly recommend it. :)

i debated between 1 and 2 stars. This place is seriously overpriced. trendy, raw vegan food that is not that good. the nachos were ok but not worth the price, the pad thai was weird at first and then just gross, the chocolate cake was actually ok but, once again, over priced. couldnt bring myself to buy a $10 cold pressed juice after dropping 60 bux on food. and when a celebrity walked in and ordered food and bought one of the said juices, i thought, yea im living beyond my means rite now.

A friend just brought me the zucchini pasta with pesto (which was tasty but a little dull), and the enchilada (which is more like a burrito). Let me tell you, the burrito was so insanely decadent and delicious. The salsa and guac was amazing and I never once was distracted by the fact it was raw (I eat raw vegan 85% of the time and depraved carnivore dog the rest). This satisfied my craving for really perfectly flavored Mexican food, which is great cause now I can put off going to some crappy greasy spoon to get my fix. I've also had the big Matt and pizza in deli case at lazy acres and very much enjoyed them.

We didn't eat as nothing really sounded appealing although I saw some dishes come out that looked really good. We ordered off the elixir menu Had the Krishna BOMB! I am really in to herbalism and this was the icing on the cake for sure. I made my decision based on ingredients and the taste came out amazing. Really hit the spot, frothy, warm, amazingly delicious and YOU FEEL IT. Many elixirs you don't but this was felt almost immediately and kept me sustained. I actually wasn't even hungry after. Image is cool and the new guy working the bar is really chill too. He is half Filipino and white. "Hapo" Is the term ha. Anyways, good stuff. Also had the truffles, mixed ones, pretty good. Will return for more elixirs.

The prep and flavor of the dishes seem to vary day by day--perhaps depending on who makes it--so it can be hit or miss. Despite, here are a few favorites worth trying if you haven't already: Wake Up Kiss--in lieu of coffee, it'll give you a warm fuzzy feeling Zucchini Pasta--try all 3 flavors at once, you can even mix and match Nachos--in a way that makes you not miss the 'cooked' version California Crunch--such a super sushi roll, best when eaten in one big bite

I should have wrote this review 3 years ago . I thought this place was suppose to close down already ! I use to stop here because I worked in Santa monica , so it was convenient. But I wish I learned after the first or 2nd time . Worse Service , every Single time I have ever come here ! EVERY SINGLE TIME! worse raw soups I have ever had way way over priced , and its not because they are paying there over worked staff alot of money , please go check in the kitchen for yourself , or just walk past the restaurant on its left side you can see the kitchen that way . I was vegan for years so Im not saying this place is bad because its vegan . Vegan food can be delicious . I'm not saying it is bad because its RAW either . I was RAW foodist for a year . This place has really got to be one of the WORST places I ever ate in my life . Over priced and tasteless . My only guess they are still running is because of the location . The raw chocolates are okay , overpriced but at least it has flavor. Really ?!! this place is still running ?! LA has way better RAW restaurants then for you to waste your time here ( lLiterally ! you may be waiting for 20 min before a too cool to be taking your order waiter comes up to you to "greet" you ) Done trying to give this place another chance again and again . Im not kidding about waiting 20 min before someone comes up to you read some of the bad reviews below

If you're vegan, this place is for you. The service is amazing, the food is amazing, and the restaurant itself is a very peaceful environment. Raw vegan restaurants are hard to find, and this one has it all. I wish they had a wider variety on their menu, but everything I've had so far I've loved! Also, it's completely gluten and soy-free, which I love.

I just had a birthday dinner at RAWvolution with a friend. It's always a treat and if it's your actual birthday, you also get a 10% discount ! I had the Pad Thai dinner ..... delicious and unsual ! Everything I've eaten here is so Creative in terms of the ingredients used. My meal filled me up and it's so nice to know that it's so Healthy too !

I walked in and immediately I felt the most amazing energy in this place. Friendly, relaxed and beautiful people eating and relaxing. The dishes were beautifully presented and Janabai told me she would make a spontaneous drink for me. She brought me this warm drink that had little clouds in it and tasted like heaven. She said she improvised it just for me and would call it "magic" ! She did not charge me for it. Now , that is good energy and love. So if you want to feel the love, this is the place.

We were in Santa Monica and ate here twice. It was even better then I remembered and they have regular table service now, no more ordering at the front counter. Service is good, friendly and fast. Love the generous portions. I feel so much better after eating here then most places. I find the food more exciting then most vegan places I've eaten at and the deserts are SO yummy!

We really loved the food tonight. Having had a few not-so-good experiences with RAW food establishments in the past, RAWVOLUTION really left a good taste for my wife and I. We ordered lots of different items from the menu so that we could taste all of the different choices that they provide. Nachos: awesome Pizza: great Burgers: great Thai curry soup: wonderful Desserts: excellent Everything we had was fantastic and I highly recommend Rawvolution as a tasty and healthy dining choice. Next, I will try the coffee menu. Sounds really good. In appreciation..

Even as someone who recently has become very passionate about healthy, raw eating, this place blew me away. The food was incredibly flavorful and delicious. TONS of menu variety. I am a GF eater that strives to eat as raw as possible. Wanting to try a different raw restaurant in SM, we came here. I absolutely love how much flavor all the dishes have. I really wish they taught cooking classes, but they don't yet :( We ordered the raw vegan nachos, pad thai, and a nori roll. All were fabulous, especially the nachos! The deserts were so delicious it's hard to believe it's raw food!! We ordered Raw vegan cinnamon roll (which seriously tastes like a cinnabon!) and a chocolate cheese cake. They were both amazingly delicious!! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

I think this is the best raw restaurant I have been to. Whenever I am in the area, I make a point to stop in, even if it's just for tea. Yes, even their tea is amazing. I brought my mom here who is not vegan, and she loved it. I recommend all of their rolls and wraps, especially the tiger roll. They are also now carrying Kejiwa, which is the best kombucha I have ever tried.

My favorite raw vegan restaurant I've been to so far! I love the laid back hip atmosphere. It was casual. Seat yourself anywhere. Decorations on the wall and couches made it feel chic. Everything here was raw vegan - gourmet style of course with fats, nuts, and seeds. But with simple ingredients and not like other raw restaurants. I had the Indonesian pasta with kelp noodles. It was amazing even tho the pad thai is the most popular. Try their tomato basil soup as well. It's served chilled but their simple ingredients will make you want to make your own at home. So easy. Our server was great even tho he was the only one working the tables and the front counter in the place. If you are in a gourmet raw mood day make sure you pick up one of their deserts as well! They were almost all gone by the end of the day and I noticed lots of people stopping in for them as we were eating.

I love this place! My favorite raw restaurant on the Westside. Food is always great. You cannot go wrong with any item on the menu. Raw food is so tasty and clean. A must visit relaxing place on Main St. Santa Monica. My favorites are cocophoria sandwich, Indonesian affair, and the burrito. The coconut jerky is awesome but just beware of coconut shell bits. Sadly the building was painted dark navy blue which absolutely does match the neighborhood. I miss earthy green which I associate with raw and Euphoria's logo. I almost thought this place was closed. Beware Santa Monica parking police, they enforce strictly and tickets are expensive. There is metered street parking and a lot across from the restaurant. I would recommend they put a small sign to ask people please don't smoke and loiter in front of the establishment. I hate when eating and smoke comes thru the windows. Minor issue is the toilet seat has been loose for the years I have been going there and the bathroom could be better lighted.

So I gave this place another try. The vibe was good, the service better. The food, meh. I guess I am not a raw food person. This is good raw food though. I will likely return sometime. But... I mean, a raw food restaurant is basically a produce stand I love Au Lac in Fountain Valley, totally amazing, and I stay away from their raw menu. Man discovered fire in the stone age. Time to jump into the stone age and cook your food.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. It's generally hard to get my husband to eat raw vegan, but this place is the exception to the rule. Their food is SO INCREDIBLY YUMMY. Try the nachos and the cinnamon roll! The cinnamon roll has the texture of cookie dough, which is oddly satisfying. I seriously could eat here every day. Great relaxed, friendly environment, in a fun location. I love eating raw vegan. You feel energized after a meal, instead of sluggish and slow.

I love this place! Very good food! They are very loyal to the raw vegan mission. They dont use honey! Their staff is amazing! Highly recommend it. For those who think raw food is expensive, the ingredients to make the food look and taste like that, it is not cheap stuff. It is quality ingredients making quality food.

I'm a healthy eater, but not vegan/vegetarian, and have never dined at a raw/live place before. Interesting... This place is 100% raw, vegan, no meat/cheese/dairy, and no hot food. I got the Indonesian noodles. It was pretty tasty. I have to admit, I had to hold myself from asking if they could zap it on the microwave real quick or add some chicken to it! My friend got the nachos, which was also pretty good. Again, wished it were warm. If you're into raw/live food, then this is your spot. I can't say I'd be back...just not up my alley. And for the price, I can't help but wonder, "Where's the beef?"

Coconut Jerky. Chocolate Durian Cake. I really want to be a born-again Raw Food. I was a strong raw foodist for two years but after some travels, it was hard to maintain the lifestyle with my curiousity for food. The Big Matt and Cheese is always a solid choice as well as the Raw Pies. The cuisine is simply invigorating!

Soo RAWvolution is an interesting place... I'm really down with veggie food and love hippie-esque environments. I also understand that these types of places can be higher in cost, so all in all, I feel I'm a very open minded and forgiving in regards to being somewhat pricey and rather different in menu options (c'mon, I went to UC Santa Cruz! hippie vegan-ville to the max!). Maybe its because I didn't order the right thing, but for some reason I wasn't terribly impressed with my food. I ordered a 'burger' which was ok, but it came on this "onion bread" that was similar to the consistency of like a flat bread cracker or something. Strange. Patty itself was dry but the tahini and homemade ketchup made up for it. This came with a side of parsley and lettuce salad; once again, strange. It also cost $11.50. Second, I ordered the small version of some kind of kale bowl with tofu and a weird orange sauce (I can't remember what it was). I thought that $9 was a bit outrageous for this...no, 9 bucks is ENTIRELY outrageous. I would never recommend this to anyone, but at least it was healthy (I hope). In the end, this is a cool spot (props for free wifi), but I really don't think I could feel ok about paying so much for a meal. Some of their smoothies and milkshakes were topping $12!!! Yes, twelve dollars!!! Insanity! There better be liquid gold in that shake for me to be paying more than 5 bucks for it.... crazy crazy stuff. Also Kombucha for $4.50 a bottle (!!!), and raw chocolate for $9 a bar?? I don't get it. 2.5 stars rounded up to 3 because I feel the need to support these types of eateries. Hooray for creativity and health food and all that jazz, but I'm not cool with breakin the bank for it. Sorry guys. Really cool spot and love the concept, but I just can't be cool with shellin out so many of my greens for so few of your greens.

When I'm craving dessert, I go to Rawvolution. They have the BEST raw vegan desserts. Tonight I was happy to see that they had the chocolate mousse cake, or my unofficial name for it: MOUTHGASM! ( twitter.com/harmonious_o… ) So I sit down on one of the comfy couches and on the couch across from me sit two guys. First of all, I have introverted tendencies and usually don't chat with strangers. But these guys were super friendly! After talking with them for a while I came to find out that one of them is raw food chef and author Bryan Au. (Whatever the raw version of star struck is, that's what I was feeling. Rawstruck?!) But back to the food. With my cake I had the chai milkshake which was deliciousness. I spend about $18 on the slice of cake and milkshake. It sounds ridiculous to a person who eats a standard American diet but I like to think of it of an investment towards my health. Service is always great but something about tonight seemed especially awesome with the service. Like they were taking extra special care of me. I go there often but remember, I'm introverted so I'm not on first name basis with the Rawvolution staff, yet. And besides, the guy who waited on me was new. The only down side to eating at Rawvolution is that it's metered parking until 10pm (maybe later in the meters across the street). I was enjoying conversations with Bryan Au and his friend so much and I wasn't watching the time. Saw the meter maid giving a ticket to the car behind me and I had to run out before he wrote me a ticket. By the way, even if you're not a raw vegan, you will LOVE their desserts! And if you're a raw vegan looking to meet people of similar interests, this is where you will meet them! Just make sure you bring enough change to feed the meters.

Like an original cafe gratitude A raw vegan philosphy with commitment to healthy living Could be fresher and better priced but needs more people through the door to support buying fresh produce every day be mindful with your raw selections as the same ingredients tend to be used across all meals, so you could end up eating nut based meals across 3 courses and a drink = stomach upset worth a visit once or twice a week

The food here is pretty good but it's expensive (even compared to other raw vegan places around the west side) and the portions are tiny. Seriously, I once ordered the pizza which was 4" x 4" with the side salad that contained all of about 8 leaves of greens. I spent $15! The last time I went here, I had a Groupon and the cashier wouldn't let me use it because it was "for dinner only." 1) This condition wasn't mentioned in the Groupon. 2) It was 4:45 and "dinner" started at 5:00. lame! This was after she spent a good 10 minutes counting the money in the till before she acknowledged me. Bottom line: the only thing this place has going for it is the food which isn't good enough to make up for the crappy service.

Was thrilled to find this place! I stopped in 2x while I was in town for take out only. Inside was very comfortable. The clientele both times I was there ranged quite a bit from stoners to corporate people with one thing in common, looking for fantastic raw / vegan food. The prices were reasonable, great portions and short wait for the food.

My feedback is on THE BOX service. I was surprised to find that the delivery was without ice. It was in the 90s the day of my delivery. Though the box was delivered that night, my raw foods sat out for 4 1/2 hours until I got home to refrigerate it. I guess you're supposed to request ice? A couple of the "entree" portions are small, more like appetizers. Two soups were so salty I had to thin it down with my own raw cashew milk. The entrees were really salty also. I ended up throwing them out. The salads were ok. The only dish I "enjoyed" was the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough dessert. That was yummy. Darn! I really, really want to love THE BOX! I believe in supporting local businesses, but $120 is pricey to give it another try. Disappointing as the couple of times I dined there, I didn't have this experience. Maybe it's a different chef who prepares THE BOX? $120 would have been a good deal if ... - The food was delivered on ice to preserve the freshness and nutritional value. - The food wasn't so salty making it close to impossible to eat. - The food was flavorful. Outside of salt, there really wasn't much flavor to the dishes. - The entree dishes were larger than appetizer portions. Customer service is very good though. They provided a full refund upon my request. I absolutely plan on returning to the restaurant. To be fair, the next time I'm there, I plan to write another review. It'll most likely be a 4-5 star review as the few times I've dined there, I was very happy. They were my first introduction to raw cuisine!

I love this place, the food and the ambiance. It's very chill and cozy and a lot of regulars go here. Keep in mind this this raw vegan food, so it's not for everyone. But I say if you like healthy food and are open to a different style of cuisine, then go for it. The coconut jerky is out of this world. I especially love it in the Cocophoria sandwhich where it come inside the onion bread....YUM. The mexican style food (mole nori tacos, red enchilada, etc.) are super yummy and also very filling. Once I saw someone get the superfood salad and add the un-tuna on top....what a great combo!!! The spirulina warrior shake is also a yummy treat and doesn't have the fishy taste that is often associated with spirulina. The service here has it's on days and off, where it can be a little slow or dismissive but it goes with the whole vibe of the place. For the most part the people that work here are super nice. Don't come here if you're in a hurry, enjoy the atmosphere and be ready to spend a little more than you are used to. But it's all worth the experience. They also have free wi-fi which is a huge bonus...it gives the place more of the cozy cafe vibe.

The servers acted incredibly entitled and the service was just over all terrible. A friend and I went in to buy a homeless man a cup of coffee, and we waited for about 20 minutes for someone to come take our order. Mind you, we were the only people in line. A woman cut us in line and the man behind the counter didnt do anything about it. According to the homeless man, the coffee sucked.

Last night was my second time dining at Rawvolution, I had eaten their packaged food from lassens grocery store but rarely have a chance to make it to the west side. My girlfriend and I were more than happy with the ambience, decor, service and of course the raw cuisine. We started with the pad Thai noodle appetizer which was really light and refreshing, and the coconut egg-fu was a nice treat as a topper. For our main course we shared the California crunch roll and the Red enchilada. The roll was a nice portion, had a very good texture and flavor profile, the caulihemp rice and walnut meat were especially unique and satisfying. The enchilada was my favorite, it's hard to choose but if asked to it would be. The ancho chili wrap and the cashew mayo were so creamy, and the pico and guacamole were amazing. Overall I was very surprised how well put together the menu was and how talented the chef was, this place stands tall with the other fancy raw vegan places in L.A. But still remains grounded and unpretentious. I highly recommend it.

Walking in I was overtaken by the comforting smells of a raw kitchen. Flipped through the menu and decided on the Dogtown Wrap and an iced tea, which was thai today. Overall, I am impressed! As always it isn't the cheapist food around, but I know my body with thank me. My wrap is delish! Nice big hunks of avocado and a taste of kalamata olives here and there. Came with a small cucumber salad as well. I was unsure of going in because of the bad reviews I read on here, but I didn't get any negative vibes from the people working there at all, and the food is really good!

Raw food in general is not cheap, but raw food on Main St in Santa Monica is big ticket stuff. I mean, I totally get it...you get your money's worth. My body hated me a just a little less during my virtuous vegan "taco salad" lunch here, and my mouth was quite pleased too. Everything from the greens to the cashew sour cream was ultra flavorful and fresh. They give generous portions...enough for leftovers in my case, but I was saving room for the "healthy" desserts which are more than tempting. They have some seating inside and a couple tables out front. The location is nice and central and the wait staff have that ethereal vegan sunshine beaming from within. If RAW is your lifestyle it seems you couldn't go wrong here.

This place is one of my favorite raw vegan restaurants, and I've been to many! The Mexican pizza was good, but where this place hits the nail right on the head is with their nachos. The taco meat took me out of this world and back, and the sour cream put me in a trance. There's couches on one side and the overall atmosphere of the place is inviting and intimate. There's spiritual books just sitting on the tables for anyone to pick up and read, and there's nice woodsy furniture everywhere. The paintings on the wall add to the atmosphere, and each time I've gone, the waitress has been super sweet as she takes my order and my money. The food didn't take that long to get out, so that was a nice addition. The sushi and desserts are also very amazing. The sushi tasted like real fish, though it was only veggies; quite the treat! I tried many of the cupcakes, cakes, and cookies available and would highly recommend the rice pudding cheesecake!

Super friendly staff, very helpful, was happy to answer all of my questions, and were knowledgeable past what they needed for the job. I went for late lunch, dinner kinda thing and got a little bit of everything, noodle appetizer, onion bread and the tiger roll. Everything was heavenly. Onion bread kindaaaa gets stuck in your teeth but who can blame smashed onions flattened and made into bread? Also a great atmosphere there were lots of girls with their yoga mats fresh out of class, and it was very cool. Across the street is a community garden you can look at while you eat too !

This restaurant is a Klassic healthy raw restaurant, (classic with a twist). The food served is pretty much da healthiest stuff on this planet, so you can order any dish without feeling guilty. The selection thus opens up to your tastebuds delights and cravings...and your wallet. Depending on your budget, you might want to consider saving this restaurant for a night out with the hubby or before a big event and tight dress. The eggrolls were yumsauce

I bought a $45 Groupon for $22 and went to get my raw food orgy on at Euphoria Loves RAWvolution yesterday with my friend Dawn. I ordered the kale chip and bacon "burger" with avocado and a coconut mint shake. Dawn ordered a burger with a durian drink and we sat outside on cute seats in the sun. The waitress came back out after 10 minutes apologizing because they were out of mint... Sadness. She suggested a spirulina coconut water drink instead which I agreed to try. Durian shake - Delicious! Spirulina shake - Waaaayyyy to spirulina-y. Had to dilute w/extra coconut water. Kale chip, coconut jerky & bacon burger - Coudn't find any raw bacon on the burger... Maybe it was mixed into the patty? Dry, minimal condiments, tough to get down. The greens on the side were meh. Not the best raw food I've had, and pretty pricey for the little portions you get. I might buy another Groupon for this place in the future, but I wouldn't go back without one.

The food here is great . Not as creative as Sun Cafe or Planet Raw, but still one the best raw restaurants I've been too. And they sell their raw bun! Makes it easy to bring home and make a raw sandwich etc.. People that say it's over priced are simply unaware of the costing. Raw organic food must be fresh, the person preparing it must be as knowledgable as a top chef, and a fully equipped raw kitchen is very expensive to put together and maintain. These costs are absorbed by the consumer. Great raw food is expensive . No one is getting rich by owning a Raw Food restaurant. Trust me. Anyone who claims it's over priced is very ignorant. It's not. My only complaint here is that it took me 20mins to get served. If you're in a rush , or have a time constraint, this place will frustrate you. If you're in the area and feel like investing in your health and you have ample time. Visit! It's very good.

I walked in here for lunch not sure to expect. The smell in the place makes me feel like I'm India. Very spicy and sweet smells. I ordered a salad and a bowl for my friend, which we shared. Both were really good with a lot of strong flavors and creamy sauces. The shake and drinks were also very good and we really enjoyed it. We ended up talking to a few friendly people next to us and felt very much at home. I like the bright colors of the design, very Bavarian!

Let me start this review by saying that I wrote a review for them a few years back, rated them 3 stars and wrote nothing particularly bad about them and the owner of the page emailed me about it which is super annoying. Yes, over a NEUTRAL REVIEW, the owner emailed me over it. So, how has this place changed since then? Seems like it hasn't at all. The décor is as horrendous as it was the last time I was in, and the customer service was lacking. I actually had ordered their boxed week of food, and it was annoying how there wasn't an itemized list of what was in their, ingredient lists, or nutritional information. No joke, the only thing in there was a pamphlet listing every ingredient in their kitchen and spilling the T on how Cher and the patron saint of all things 90s, Alicia Silverstone, eat raw food. no1curr Review of "the box" *Some salad I ate- not memorable, didn't remember the name and don't care to. I remember it tasted gritty at points but everything else was p much purged from my memory. "nope" *Thai Slaw- tasted like something I could make, would not order again. "meh" *Super Macro Salad or s/t like that- delicious, yes please, saving grace of the box. "yes please" *Bok Choy Salad- by the time I got to it, it was almost all water and tasted like little more than raw garlic. "nope" *Tropical Fruit Parfait- tasted like an overly sweet, wet larabar. "nope" *Spicy Sesame Soup- made me feel sad. it would be nice if there was a sticker on the packaging listing the ingredients so I wouldn't have been horrified when all of a sudden I bit into a piece of coconut flesh. even the farmers market sellers put stickers with their ingredients on it. jfc. "NOPE" *Eggless Egg Salad- good, really wet which weirds me out "okey" *Asstd. Crackers- can't shit talk about these, I fucking love these things "yes please" *Mushroom and Swiss Burger- I don't like pickles in the first place, but they tasted like normal jarred pickles so idk if that's a plus or not. why was it sooooo wet and why did i get one slice of a sad looking tomato? rest of it was okay. "okey" *Stir-not-fry- gritty and not really memorable "nope" *Chocolate Coconut Haystacks- these were not labeled so I was really surprised when I bit into one and discovered it wasn't a meatball. they were great. "yes please" *Unlabeled/I think it was a "pizza"- looked like green olives swimming in a sea of chum with one of the breads in a separate bag, taped to it. Are olives really considered "raw"? k. was v salty "eh" *Red Russian Borscht- I could not finish this and threw it away after eating several spoonfuls "NOPE, NEVER AGAIN" so, three items I loved and one of them was a bag of crackers, and half of the items were things i would not want to eat again. obviously they are not making food for only me, but I'm not new to the raw food game. I'm a former raw foodist (wow that sounds pretentious) and know how to throw down in the raw kitchen. these are not flavors i'm unaccustomed to, it was the quality/preparation/combination of flavors that were in the wrong. step ur game up, elr. TL;DR: WOMP WOMP ROY COME AT ME IN THE COMMENTS, IDGAF

Delicious!! Sean Gecko R has been raving about a place that sells toothpaste, and other items with crushed lumerian quartz. I guess he had been here a few years ago and described this as a cafe with a small shopping area. He also said it was in venice. Well turns out it was in Santa Monica and was more of a restaurant/cafe and no crushed crystal products. We were only a little bit hungry but we decided to split the pesto tomato sliders and the nachos. I love raw food, and I have researched a lot about the 80-10-10 diet. Now, this is more of gourmet raw food, but thats what makes it extra delicious. The tomato sliders were very simple, just pesto spread on tomato slices. SO GOOD. Simple, fresh, and delicious, I could have eaten 10 plates of these. The nachos were also super good. Usually raw places use some kind of lettuce or flax cracker as a vehicle to transport the guacamole nacho goodness into your mouth, but ELR used dehydrated blue corn chips which was a fun treat. The nachos were really good but the walnut part was really salty. The soups look amazing and I will have to try those next time.

Love, love, love this place. Always good vibes, and good people. The service is great and the food is amazing. I have come a couple times trying several different things. One of my favorites is the indonesian affair, I also like the red enchilada. This last visit I tried a tea that was probably one of the best teas I have had in a long while. It was" wake up with a kiss" (mate, reishe, cacoa, stevia) maybe more..can't totally remember, but definetly recommend it. We ordered a couple desserts as well, one being the special of the day which was "strawberry banana nutella napoleon" (I'll upload pictures as well) Also got the fudge brownies=yummm Parking across the street is no long meters yay! It is pay station, which makes things alot easier. my new favorite here is the mexican pizza! a must try!

I have returned to Ravolution twice recently thanks to Groupon, and I have to say I was very pleased. Most recently got the nachos grande and macro bowl. The nachos were delicious. The "meat" was primarily walnuts (I think) and super flavorful and good. The blue corn chips had a nice crunch and neutral flavor. The macro bowl has kale, two yummy sauces and these little silken "nofu" cubes that were so creamy and very reminiscent of a soft cheese. I thought the portions for both were generous - we shared both and were too full to finish everything. Went with my bf (proud carnivore) and he too loved the food. The time before we got a few dishes with the kelp noodles, and while the flavors were good, those kelp noodles were terrible. I am actually surprised they use those because they seem like a heavily process food (living kelp is a greenish-brown, kelp noodles are clear). The decor: I rather like it in there. It's cozy and reminds me of some of the places in Topanga Canyon. There are individual tables, communal tables and a couch. Service was also good and our waitress was sweet and attentive. I think one of my favorite things at Rawvolution are their smoothies. They are super pricey but so good. I could drink the chocolate maca smoothie and sweet chai milkshake everyday. That being said those are some pricey little drinks (the chai one is $11) but they are full of nourishing goodness. I've recently figured out how to make them at home, but they still don't taste exactly like the Rawvolution ones....so I guess I'll still be getting my fix there.

I am rewriting my review because the owner went out of his way to contact me regarding my bad experience and he refunded me for the faulty meal. Again as I stated before this place sounds great. I wish I had had a better experience. I give the owner kudos however for doing what he could to rectify my experience. I only tried it once and would not try again, but it sure sounds like a great idea to serve all raw food. I love the idea.

I am so in love with every last morsel of food in the joint! Especially the desserts! If I was wealthier, I would eat here everyday. But fresh, raw food can be a little pricey. So expect to pay upwards of $30 for a drink, meal and dessert. It is truly worth every penny though. And if you check in through Yelp, you can get 15% off your lunch entree! My favorite dishes are the Chip's and Bacon Burger, The Fettuccine Alfredo, The Coconut Jerky, The Warrior Shake, and the Phad Thai. And for dessert, durian cheesecake!!!!

The food is pretty good. I mean what raw food is actually amazing? Had the Cali roll and the pad thai. The former was much better-their cashew/walnut filling is really tasty. But the service is not great, it's seriously seriously slow for not even having to cook anything. I think the problem is they are very understaffed. Had to go up to the kitchen twice just to get refills of water. Was there for lunch and it took close to 40 mins for two items to come out. Will only go back if I have a good two hrs to kill.

I'm a big meat eater but I was first introduced to raw vegan food at this place, and that opened up my eyes to raw food! The food are just amazing! The only complain I have is that there arent enough sitting area or table. But the awesome raw dessert compensate for the lack of sitting area so Im still giving it a 5 Star rating

I come here EVERY chance I get. Even if its for some fresh coconut water. Why? Because Matt & Jen, and their amazing food is worth supporting. They have created such a cosy and warm ambiance, that has attracted regulars such as myself on the daily. I bring meat eaters here ALL the time, and they fall in love with the food, and the lifestyle RAWvolution promotes. My sister, mother, and grandmother ALL have converted to vegetarianism because of rad influence this place, it's food, and the people who frequent it has given them. Prices are OKAAAY, but oh the experience is worth every penny.

Not cheap, but not too pricey for raw, organic, vegan food. Actually, the price is fine maybe I just wasn't all that full after $20. The coconut jerky is the best thing in all the world. Get that plus the dipping sauce for sure.

It's about time I submitted a review for Euphoria Loves RAWvolution. I am a regular customer here, for many years, as sometimes you should eat out with your friends in a comfortable place which is local and serves excellent, vibrant food. It is loving you and loving your friend to treat yourself to a shared meal experience here. I recommend ALL their food. I am addicted to the super M & J's Ultimate Meal Shake, and have had most of their superfood shakes. TEN STARS!!! Why doesnt the rating allow you to garner as many stars as are due a location? My TOP TOP Favorite items on their menu: *M & J's Ultimate Meal Shake *Tuna Melt *Big Matt and Cheese *Mushroom Swiss *Cocophoria *Chipotle Sea Burger *Mole Nori Tacos *Teriyaki Seaweed Noodles *Supreme Enlightenment Salad Mmmmmm. I absolutely trust the Chef's taste in all their products - SunWarrior and Dr. Schultze's Protein / Superfood, local vibrant veggies, sprouts straight from their sprouting in the back, nuts straight from their soaking. I commend them for a gold standard in how they treat the food that makes its way to you. Thank you, Euphoria Loves RAWvolution!!
